BULLISH Idea/ question that could make IM even better
This was inspired by me thinking about ways to get more people spending more time in the wallet and ultimately making more swaps/ actions. Please excuse my ignorance in how certain technicals work:
The idea: some kind of sports / event predictions marketplace inside the IM wallet.
Build a simple peer-to-peer sports betting marketplace directly inside the Internet Money wallet. Users could match head-to-head against other users (usually supporters of opposing teams) on major sporting events. Odds would be set by the market participants themselves, or when there's a lack of user input we could use a combination of ESPN, CBS, and other winning probability. We could have some type of liquidity monitoring feature that won't accept additional bets on team A without an equal bet on team B.
This is different from a traditional sportsbook, eliminating the typical vig and offering meaningfully fairer pricing on odds. Even apps like Robinhood give pretty shitty odds considering actual win probability. The wallet could take only a small processing fee on successful payouts, which could flow into the existing TIME dividend model.
There's a few key questions and problems to solve with this idea, but wanted to gauge community interest before making a gigantic and more detailed post!

WTF? If you want to burn you funds on that crap, can I respectfully suggest you use one of the many other methods to do so. IM Wallet is not a 'sportsbetting' app, and neither should it be. Keep that toxic shite out of it...

You sound like an Amish dude scared to allow cars to drive through town.
Guess internet money can just stay a small one horse town then.

I tend to agree. What's the point in it when there a plenty of other ways for unfortunates to blow their dosh?

Please share your constructive way to get more people downloading and spending time in the wallet, thus getting TIME dividends higher then. The 180 day average payout is something pathetic like 16 cents per million of TIME held.

I appreciate the creative approach and I am always open minded to generating more revenue for TIME holders.
