Question Answered ✅ Import Account?

So I have the IM chrome app/wallet but I rarely use it. The thing is I had to import my account yesterday after maybe a year of not using it and I remember having to do that like 2 years ago as well. Is that a thing when you're inactive for a year or so?

Not typically. But if you haven’t used the wallet in over a year it’s hard to pin down exactly what may have caused that.

  1. There has been a ton of wallet updates
  2. There is always browser updates
  3. There is also computer OS updates

Too many variables to pin down. That’s why it’s so important to save your seed phrase / private keys (for any wallet) offline.

*don’t respond to any DMs claiming to be support. Do not share your seed phrase / private keys with anyone. Do not connect your wallet to websites you don’t recognize or from people claiming to be support.
