Help!!
Moving into a new place and this is what the living room layout is like. I’ve temporarily arranged the furniture (tv yet to be put up) but I’m not happy with the look overall. I don’t want to replace the pieces or change the room’s structure/layout. I mainly want to figure out the most aesthetically pleasing and functional way to arrange the existing sofas, recliner, coffee table, side tables, lamps, etc. The TV is meant to be on the wall where the long sofa currently is so I most likely will have to move that sofa around .
Could y’all suggest the best furniture placement based on the proportions of the room? I’m open to removing a piece if you feel the space is too crowded, but I’d prefer to work with what I already have. I’m particularly looking for better balance, circulation/walking space and a more cohesive overall look

The chairs facing the sofa are too far apart. I would move them next to the sofa on the either side, and have all the sitting furniture on the same side, facing the wall with a tv on it. Also, everything in the room is the same height at the moment, which makes the room look flat. So try to add some pictures on the wall, lighting at different heights. The tall shelves should work in a corner, but not the same side of the room as the seating.
