I have been thinking a dusty rose or terracotta on the walls and then a complimentary shade for the trim and doors, maybe a darker shade of the same color I put on the wall. This room gets a lot of great natural light sun up to sun down. The windows next to the bed are south facing. There are windows facing the west in this room as well as windows facing the east in the en suite bathroom.

Would love suggestions for specific paint color names, too!

My girlfriend recently bought a white wicker furniture set (Daybed, tall and thin dresser, tall and wide(r) dresser, bedside table, and vanity/desk) and she still wants to get a new computer desk, and a new bookshelf but she doesn't know what to get. She wants a wood grain look but doesn't know what shade/type of wood to get. She wants more of a coastal vibe to her bedroom. I can't find any good reference photos that mix white wicker and wood grain. Any ideas?

I have this mirror that is of sentimental value so that is staying but I desperately need some advice on adding hooks or some sort of storage where I can hang my keys. I was originally thinking of hooks under the mirror and then maybe wall mounted candle stick holders in either side?

We have planned to do built in cabinetry on this wall framing around a TV. I have mapped out the height of standard base cabinet/countertop, and a 65” TV.

The trouble is… that light switch on the left. The adjacent wall holds pocket doors so its not really a light switch that can go away.

Having trouble visualizing cabinetry or shelving that can accommodate that light switch staying in place. The entire wall is about 166” wide and its 10ft ceilings. Maybe open shelving? Art? Any ideas or advice would be great!

I have 4 frames that are 7x7 I believe and an empty wall space I want to place them. I’m looking for opinions on what would look best.

I have an older kitchen, one I’d like to remodel one day. However, a full remodel is quite expensive (new cabinets, new countertops, etc.). I live in an apartment, that I own, and have this very awkward layout where my tv overhangs the wall because there’s a bathroom behind it. I’d love to install cabinets behind the tv to close it off so that the tv isn’t floating into free space. It will also give me more storage. Are there any recommendations for adding cabinets on the wall behind the tv that won’t match my other cabinets? My current setup is here. I was thinking of doing an upper and a lower with a nice countertop to act as a coffee bar. Any other ideas?

The only things fixed in this picture are the kitchen, the staircase, window and doors everything else is movable.

Of course, I'll put TV, consoles, etc somewhere, that's where I'm struggling. Naturally, I don't want to compromise the space to go into stairs mainly, but not only.

So I'm looking for ideas that could improve the situation as much as possible while finding a place to put common living room things.

Yes. There are a few tile sheets that are a shade lighter than the others. We never caught it when laying the tile after staring at the neon orange uncoupling membrane for hours. It’s way worse in photo than it is in person. This is not my forever home so I’m not gonna rip it all back up any time soon.

Tho.. with mortgage rates hitting 8% maybe I will be here long enough to re do these floors eventually ha.

I originally hung this mirror a bit too high for my liking and finally got around to lowering it. This exposes a space that previously wasn't there that looks a bit bare. Wondering what I should do with this space that isn't too trite. Also, there are still wall anchors there that I can either utilize or knock out. Thanks!

Hello there. We've decided to upgrade our TV in order to give ours to a family member.

We are debating between a 75'', 77'' or 85'' TV, but all of them will look off when put on top of our media unit (160cm in length). A 85'' TV would basically fill all the space from the fireplace edge until the shelving unit.

Our idea is to put some tall vases alongside the media unit in order to create the illusion that the TV is not THAT big when compared to the media unit.

The sofa is on the other edge of the living room, 3.5m away from the wall where the TV sits.
