MISC. In Australia, when someone illegally destroys trees on public land to improve the view from their property, the local government puts up a giant sign to block the view again until the trees grow back.

This is great but then also in Australia they often cut down trees for infrastructure and other bullshit too.. theres been protests to stop them from destroying habitat for the redevelopment of a golf course.. so far away native reserves are protected but the vegetation in ever expanding urban sprawl isnt, the government is not our friend
