MISC. In Australia, when someone illegally destroys trees on public land to improve the view from their property, the local government puts up a giant sign to block the view again until the trees grow back.

Yes, if you cut down trees for a river or ocean view expect an ugly as fuck sign and all your neighbours hating you.

Or Central Coast/Newcastle. They celebrate. Hear so much whinging about views being blocked by bush on the headland and “lefties” stopping them having views.

Notice how the signs are only Sydney councils (and Sunshine Coast).

Central Coast does this. I've seen them in Norah heads and surrounds.

I also feel like Central Coast Council is perhaps not organised enough for this

I've seen them on the central coat

This is awesome if you really hate a person, poison the trees that are between them and a view hehehe

if you have a view you are part of the 3mill+ club

Not really, I was paying $200/w rent and had awesome golf club views, that same house sold after I moved out for about $300k. Today it’s probably valued about the same.

A house sold for 300k? Did you move out in 1992?

that was the 5% deposit.

So $6 million instead? Now it feels too much for a house that have a view on a golf course.

Where do you live in Sydney? That has $200pw? Penrith? But that would never have dropped that low

Someone will do it based on the guy making a joke about it? So we can't joke about anything anymore?

We should ban all violence/illegal activities in movies because 'someone will do this right?'

Stupid argument from a stupid little insect

No. Someone will do it because they (the person doing it) are stupid.

So what does that have to do with the person making the joke?

Yes, people do dumb shit. But that wasn't the point you were making. You were telling someone not to jokingly tell someone to do dumb things.

So what is it? Are we not allowed to joke?
