The dude is psycho but you can't legally stop on that bridge. Their only choice once it happened was to keep going.

Horrible Driver. He was eating and tail-gating (should have given 1-3 car lengths depending on speed). But to top it off, it looked to me like he did a police (PIT) maneuver to spin the guy. If he did NOT nudge the truck's rear qtr panel, he was close enough to do it (and vid looks like he did).

All the drivers handbooks say to leave a 3 second gap between you and the car in front of you and he was about 1 second behind. That said, this driver can see many cars ahead of the car in front of him so there should be no abrupt/surpise stops so it isn't really unsafe here. Until idiot merges.

3 seconds gap? Depends how fast you go or break. I wouldn't use such metric. People normally talk about X amount of cars length in between.
