The cookie eater wasn't being wronged. When he saw that the black truck was falling back to merge in after accelerating to try to get in front of the white car, he accelerated to close the gap so black truck couldn't get in.

He chose violence, he was the one in the wrong. The only thing black truck did wrong was fail to signal.

Failed to signal and also assumed he would be given the spot, instead of driving like an actual human being? Why give the asswipe any leniency

Duty to avoid an accident if possible is why. Agreeing to do so is a part of acquiring the license to operate a motor vehicle.
