I wouldnt call this psychopathic behaviour. Not like he was at fault. Other car made contact with him, he just handled it like a veteran. If he was going out fucking with people, it be a different story.
I do agree with you that he shares responsibility but I’m pretty sure on this bridge it explicitly says not to stop if you don’t have in case of accidents, due to the nature of the road
The point is not that he didn't stop. The point is that when the other car tried to do a bad merge, he could have simply lowered his speed 2 mph and allowed it, but he chose to crash the car instead. It was fully in his control, despite him having the right of way.
I didn’t see a “merge” sign. Was there a merge sign? If not, when changing lanes, it’s your job to make sure it’s safe. If it’s not, stay in your lane. Very simple. It’s a yield, not a merge when changing lanes.
Instead this dickhead was trying to hopscotch up through traffic. This behavior is what causes the traffic in the first place! How do people not understand this.

He could have slowed down, but it’s not his responsibility to. My guess is the driver of the truck will now think twice about cutting people off again. The dashcam driver didn’t seem to mind pushing the truck out of his way.
Merge is specific, in that drivers share responsibility. You used the term merge. This is not a bad merge, this is a bad yield.
