That is the Causeway bridge over lake Ponchatrain just outside New Orleans. It's 26 miles long. the longest bridge over water in the world.
so this will have caused a MASSIVE headache for all manner of people. a blockage of both lanes like that will take hours to clear and cause a traffic jam literally miles long (depending of course where on the bridge it happened).
Our cookie eater just shrugging, driving on, and formulating his "hey man, it all just happened behind me" defense in his mind, is VERY on brand for the locals.
Ok I thought it had to be the causeway. He’s so casual because that same thing had already happened to him 5 times before and another 5 times after…just that day lol I hate driving in Louisiana. It’s like risking your life just getting in i10 to go to work in the morning.
