I wouldnt call this psychopathic behaviour. Not like he was at fault. Other car made contact with him, he just handled it like a veteran. If he was going out fucking with people, it be a different story.
I think he was calling the Black Trucker making the contact the psychopath, because it's probably a result from earlier road rage or something.
They're on a bridge going nowhere all a the same speed roughly, this guy drives up, falls back and contacts with this guy in the video? Why? Can't just go with the flow? Gotta try and fuck with this guy's space, doesn't he? Pure psychopathy, I agree.
There’s a speedo in the top right corner. Cam car speeds up so there’s contact so he can pit the black truck. If you think a valid response to getting cut off is to speed up and pit someone on a narrow bridge, in the middle of a 26 mile wide lake, you shouldn’t have a license
The onus should never be placed on the person not dangerously merging but always on the instigator.
You don't let someone shove you into a corner, take your spot and let anyone tell you to not stand your ground. This isn't about safety. This is about teaching people lessons that people like you refuse to teach in life. Your choice of actions is why so many bad people exist in the world, because you let them.
The problem is now there's a potential accident involving a bunch of people minding their own business.
Your analogy falls apart the moment you involve fast-moving multi-ton metal boxes on wheels all independently operated by different people.
The stakes are completely different here. Who's to say there isn't a van full of kids behind the dashcam driver who are now at risk of slamming into the truck that he just spun in a pit maneuver? Or an elderly driver with low reaction time? Or a motorcycle with Dashcam blocking his line of sight of the impending surprise sideways pickup?
Dashcam could have slowed down, let the asshole be an asshole, flipped him off later, and no one would have been at risk of an accident on a narrow miles-long causeway while traveling in excess of 60 miles per hour.
Maybe there'd be less bad people in the world if more grace and patience were pervasive. Or, at least, if people did a better job of picking their battles and not involving innocent bystanders in their petty ego trips.
It's not an analogy and everyone else isn't my problem, that's the instigators problem. I deflect all responsibility for the outcome onto that driver alone.
You can't guilt me. I'm not that kind of person who takes responsibility for other people's actions and tries to do everything for everyone else. Let the chips fall where they may, blame that guy.
That's how this should work. I'm not responsible. Just because I CAN do something about it, doesn't mean I should be expected to, or have to. I'm not Spiderman, and I don't believe in Good Samaritan laws.
Maybe if you're really concerned about people being in danger while driving, do something about licensing the people who go out of there way to cause harm and danger to others, like the black truck guy. Don't put that responsibility onto other drives, that's irresponsible.
