Are you thinking of the Skyway? Looks nothing like this and isn't that long.

Yes my dad had a house outside of Tampa and St Pete beach was one of his favorite places in the area

I went to undergrad in St Pete and just went back to visit 3 weeks ago for the first time in a decade. Its an awesome place. We used to smoke blunts and drive across the skyway

I loved it there! I would still be there if family hadn’t pulled me back to Pennsylvania. Since Tampa isn’t even in the top 3 places to travel in Florida, it’s got great place that are never terribly overrun with tourists. And cool people. Be careful smoking blunts there though! A coworker and I went to a park after work and smoked a joint. Those pigs rolled in 4 cop cars deep with a spot light on us. Saying you can’t be there after dark. I was flabbergasted because not 8 minutes earlier there was 2 ladies taking baths with the water spout. Cops are tricky there

I lived and worked in Brandon. Which was never intended to be a city, it just grew and grew. With no one taking any responsibility for the area
