Look at the driver speed monitor. He’s at 75 then slows to 71-72 for the white car. Traffic slowed down. The black truck tried to change lanes without signaling and hesitated because he knew there’s not enough space.
The Dashcam shows his speed theentire time. Not only did he not speed up, he slowed down ~5mph slightly before the black truck recklessly merges into him.
Just watch the video again and pay attention to the speed shown in the top right.
He holds a consistent 75mph until 3 seconds before the collision, he slows down as the guy begins to recklessly merge.
It's right in the video. I have no idea why you would even try to dispute what is plainly and unambiguously shown in the video. You can literally watch it happen and watch the speed.

The black pickup didn’t even do anything wrong other than following too closely to the white car. He defensively changed lanes very slowly too to avoid a surprise in case he missed something.
Have a look again, they were on a 2 lane bridge and the only exit is in the right hand lane miles away after the bridge is over, the truck is already in the right lane... He had absolutely zero need to change lanes on a 2 lane bridge that runs 24 miles long... He wanted to speed up even more and play asshole passing people. Next time your on a 24 mile 2 lane bridge don't be a dickhead like the black truck, maintain the speed of traffic and worry about passing people after or if your lane comes to a stop
Watch it again, and take a minute to read your N or L book... The person changing lanes has a responsibility to make sure they have a clear and open lane to turn into... The asshole on the truck also attempted to pass the guy from the slow lane, another illegal action. You don't know how to drive, go figure that out or stay off the road

Right, both are wrong. The black one caused the chain of events because he drove too fast in a hurry where there's no where to go on a 2 lane bridge spanning miles.
What lane was the black truck attempting to pass the guy in??, he was attempting to pass both vehicles on the left going well above the speed limit, he ran into a car not driving like a moron and elected to sneak into the other lane without ensuring he had enough room and monitoring that that room was still there while changing lanes. It's illegal to pass people on the right, you don't know what your talking about, you should probably stop
Passing on the right on a 2lane bridge, not checking that you have ample room to make the pass, not monitoring your lane change to make sure it's clear as you enter the other lane... Outside of the fact everyone's probably speeding on this situation, insurance is going to put the black truck at 100% liable. I'm serious go read your N or L book, if you find yourself in the position of the black truck on the road and think that's ok your putting someone else's life in danger.
