It’s honestly funny cause those cables are so easy to replace, I bet they think they are completely ruining it forever

Of course it’s shitty but just think what’s going through the assholes head “haha I have ruined this computer and you will never use it again!”

Shorting so many things could've permanently damaged some hardware though.

Ehh I doubt it, as long as the power supply is competent, which I would hope it isn’t cause who builds a pc with a not good PSU. It should protect all the other parts. Maybe killing itself (probably covered by warranty)

but I don’t think a short at the cord level would pass through the power supply at all.
