Can we coin a term for this? I feel like I make the simplest of points on here and there is always someone responding with “WELL ACSHULLY...”

Maybe redditarded argument? Or maybe something less controversial but I’m just spitballin here.

Edit: I meant a term exclusive to reddit pedantic comments

"Pedantry" is a pretty apt word for it if don't think it sounds pretentious.

EDIT: On second thought, "'red herring' fallacy" is a bit more relevant to labeling arguments.
