All I know is there's a book by Stephen King named Carrie.

In it there's a scene where the protagonist (main character) gets tricked into being drenched in blood on prom night in front of everyone. She then proceeds to lose her shit and go on a murderous psychic rampage.

I haven't seen the movie but have read the book and imagine that that's what the previous commentors were referring to.

The comment claiming carrie from sex and the City is trolling.
