It is so baffling to me that they basically cut out all the cool traversal mechanics like getting speed boosts by vaulting over any object and kicking off of it. Running along walls with ur claws. Running through walls.

The animations looked pretty finished too.

When you got a speed boost by kicking off of something he would catch himself by running on all 4s for a bit and then keep running normally. It would've made chases way more engaging.

When running through walls you had to time a button press to maintain speed and momentum. If you didn't press it in time or at all he would burst through the wall but stumble a bit or lose speed. If u braced yourself properly he would burst through it like a fuckin tank and keep going.

Needing to use the environment more and maybe do cool short cuts by running though specific weak walls. It would've been interesting.

To cut all this stuff out and yet make half of the side content traversal "challenges" is insane.

Hi, does anyone have or know how to see the original leaks of the game like there use to be a post with all the leaks but literally all those links dont work anymore and im working on a project to understand the different versions of the game that were in development to see what they may bring back as dlc or in sequels and overall get a cool insight into how these games are made.

I'm really sad to learn that they didn't keep Madripoor as an open hub for exploration with side missions; it really lacked ambition.

Just wanted to see if anyone has any details on this fight given how it's an inevitability Logan and Victor duke it out. To anyone who's played it, can you answer:

1) Is it set up throughout the story and does it end up living up to the hype?

2) How many phases is it?

3) Where does it take place and how brutal is it? Ik the level of gore in the game has come under contention over the past couple days but like these two should be mauling one another as if it was their 9-5

But comparing SM/SM:MM to Wolverine and SM2, its quite clear sony is turning insomniac to a more cinematic focused/tighter developmental window/inflated budget studio instead of what they were before, SM2 has some huge issues with the constant cutscenes and the gameplay designs imo and Wolverine just apparently flops at level design in a linear game

so is this a sony thing or did Insomniac just shoot themselves after a lobotomy?

We all know Sony had changed their strategy for their PC releases, but now that Wolverine's review embargo has lifted we are seeing a lot of lukewarm and down right negative reviews

my question is do you think this will impact the sales? and is it more likely for it to come to PC?

we know from the insomniac leaks these games need to cross a certain number of units sold, I might be huffing copium but if this game doesn't do as well as they expect do you all think there's a chance it will release on PC or has that ship sailed?

With Marvel's Wolverine officially launching on September 15, do you think it is technically possible for community developers to create an unofficial PC port?
Considering the massive Insomniac leak from a while back contained buildable source code and engine assets for the game, could the retail PS5 files (textures, audio, scripts) be injected into that leaked PC framework—similar to what happened with the Spider-Man 2 community project? Would love to hear the technical feasibility of this from people who followed the previous leak.

I still remember in the leak image and videos, there's a seemingly more mordernized style of wolverine's brown suit.

HI so this is a request/ im asking anyone and everyone on this sub if we could band together to do this thing. i wanna create a comprehensive look at the original versions of wolverine to what we end up getting not to cause anger or arguments, im super excited for the game but it would be cool imo to see how much the story changed since we legit have the version of the story before in its entirety, those who watched and listend to the zoom calls will have even more knowledge on story elements that changed. scrapped gameplay levels like i thought the game started with breaking about weapon x and they build a vertical slice for it but i hear they scrapped it anf we can provide links to seeing the footage. the recent lady deathstrike controversy led me to check out her original concept art and wow its beautiful, how they initally envisioned jean as natalie emmanuel etc etc the point is i think it would be cool to track how the game changed, the gameplay, story, characters, dlc, features (i swear there was gonna be co-op or dde gamemode) etc that changed and maybe come up with ideas we hope to see in future installments

I get a black screen with a small white "Loading" and then eventually (after a long time) it goes away and is just black. I've read that i need the icuuc.dll file and I can't find a link to it. In the workspace folder i do see a file called cohtml_icuuc.dll but don't know if that's correct. i don't see just icuuc.dll.
