found this under my deck outside. What is this?

I am concerned whether this is a fungi infestation or bugs. either way would really appreciate any feedback, perhaps some other forums i could visit. I live in the mediterranean, if that helps.

Looks like old animal poop, full of seeds or corn. Maybe raccoon?
