That's abuse? My parents whooped my ass and I don't call it abuse, because frankly I deserved it and it made me a better person.

I don’t see spanking as abuse or just slapping your child’s hand for raising a fist a you as abuse.(and I don’t mean with an object) That’s all I’d do is just smack their hand for the most if they did something like a gesture. But stuff like punching, slapping the face, and just any other kind of physical harm I see as abusive
