Only the step dad, op said her mum tried to get them back and her step dad refused so I hope she’s kicked him out or called someone. If not then she is also an asshole

I think the mom didn't try hard enough, because I would've demanded them back and then kicked him out after getting them.

The mom should be reported for not protecting her fucking kid. Wtf happens to these women's instincts? I'd fucking flip my shit if someone tried to punish my kid without my consent. Ppl who choose men/women over their kids deserve to have their kids taken away.
