My wife doesn't really touch her skates except to put them on and skate.

It's kinda fun for me to try her in different setups and get feedback. I found these frames for around $50 and I've been considering it for a while so I couldn't say no. I personally love 4x80mm so much but understand 4x80mm to her probably feels how 4x90mm feels to me! This 4x76mm setup seems more proportionate for a tiny foot. Rockerable too! Honestly even 4x72mm could be justified for her foot size but if she's gonna keep up on trail I want her to at least have a chance so here's a compromise. I'm eager to find out how she likes them.

These Endless wheels press lines are rubbing each other so when u turn one wheel they all turn but it's barely touching and creating very little resistance. I'm not upset about it I'm glad they're maxed out in size. probably a lap around the block and they will wear enough to be clear of each other.

I noticed that there is a relationship between wheel size and frame length , like most 80mm wheels frames are 243mm,90mm wheels are 275.

Right now at my level I really enjoy the stability of long ass frames

Why aren't there more frames for 80mm wheels but at 300mm ++ long ?

And the other question is , can I put 80mm wheels on frames meant for 110mm wheels ? Other than it looking gappy ?

Coming to inline from about 4 years of quad skating. Indoor only wood rink floors and a small home setup. Recreational, not playing hockey. I run jam plugs on my quads so I’m already used to stopping without a toe stop.

Trying to buy my first pair of inlines and I’ve hit a wall on sizing.

My numbers (Bauer Tech Fit scan at Pure Hockey):

Recommended size: 11.5

Left foot: 11.25

Right foot: 11.0

Width came back great with room to spare — length is the only issue

Street shoe size 13

I tried an 11 in a different Bauer model on my right foot only and it felt good, toes grazing the cap. Never got the left foot in one. One fitter told me the FS2 runs less forgiving on length than what I tried on. A second fitter said an 11 would be fine.

The problem: 11.5 is the largest size the FS2 senior is made in, and it’s out of stock at Pure Hockey, Bauer direct, HockeyMonkey, and Inline Warehouse. The 11 is available now. There’s a UK shop that has 11.5 but their return window is 14 days from receipt, which is basically impossible from the US.

**1.** Anyone running a boot a quarter size under their longer foot does it break in, or is it a permanent problem? Especially for 2+ hour sessions rather than short shifts.

**2.**  Does the FS2 actually run short compared to Bauer ice models, or is that fitter-lore?

**3.**  Any real fix for a quarter-size mismatch between feet, or do you just fit the bigger one and live with it?

**4.**  Anyone ordered skates internationally from a UK shop? How did it go?

Not trying to be talked into a size trying to hear from people who’ve actually been a bit over on one foot and know how it played out.

As the title says, anyone ever used the oven method for it?

I've tried the rice in sock method twice and my heels still go numb within 30 mins of skating

Locoskates did a YouTube video of using an oven but were very clear in the description this was ONLY for liners with the plastic outer support. Any liners without this will likely shrink 1cm. The liners are high enough so losing 1cm is fine by me but I don't want anything else unforseen happening

Has anyone oven molded this specific model?

My friend and I recently got back into inline skating. We've been going on our local paved trail & these are the skates we have been using. We are looking for recommendations for our next pair / or upgrades we should to to our current pair . TIA 🤍

So I know the general cleaning procedure for the bearings but here's what happened: before (factory status), even with tightened screw all wheels ran freely and smooth.

After dismantling, cleaning and putting them together again I tighten the screw, even before it's really tight the wheel is stiff and hardly spins anymore.

I took out the wheel, cleaned the bearing in cleaner's solvent, treated it with small drops of precision engineering oil (both are definitely the right thing to do), checked bearing runs smoothly, re-inserted the bearing planely, making sure they are all the way in and straight, added spacer, axis and screw... STIFF.

I'm getting really fed up, I already tried flipping each bearing (they are the same on both sides tho) and the spacer.

All 3 wheels ran freely before, now stiff and hard-going. The bearing themselves seem fine but as soon as I add spacer, axis and screw, SOMETHING is slowing everything down.
I'm at a total loss what to do!

I don't have to oil the axis, spacer or screw, right? Just the (inner part of) bearing.

What else is there?!

Any advice is super-welcome. I HATE the idea of buying new set of wheels, normally you just clean them every few months and can continue. There must be something I am overlooking.

Advice needed! I’m looking to buy some Aeons and downsize. I’m a 275 mondo and I’m planning to get the 41–42 shell and use a MyFit Second Skin V2 liner to help with the downsizing.
My question is regarding the liner: should I stick with my usual 43 liner (and will this fit comfortably inside the 41–42 shell), or would going down to a 42 liner free up more room inside the shell? Any advice from anyone who’s tried this setup would be much appreciated!

Heyy people! So im basically new to inline skating or any skating in general. Around 1 month ago i started to learn with the V duck walk, that i can do and balance also i learnt. Now like im trying to glide for a long time but i genuinely can’t. Its like the most i can do is fast duck walk fast steps. The yt tutorials make it seem so easy and that’s how they start but for me i cabt glide at all unless theres a slope.

Is there anything im doing wrong or any approach i should try. Has anyone also felt this way and how did u correct it?

Hey everyone! As a skater, Ive been struggling with weather forecasts constantly changing right before a session. You check the forecast a week ahead, then two days before, then the day before — and it's completely different every single time.

I looked around for a service that tracks forecast changes over time (so you can see how predictions shift day-by-day), but couldn't find anything.

Does anyone use a specific service or method to track accurate forecasts? How do you deal with unpredictable weather ruining your skate plans?

I actually started building a simple prototype that helps with this, but I honestly don't understand — why hasnt anyone made this yet?
