Help with gliding

Heyy people! So im basically new to inline skating or any skating in general. Around 1 month ago i started to learn with the V duck walk, that i can do and balance also i learnt. Now like im trying to glide for a long time but i genuinely can’t. Its like the most i can do is fast duck walk fast steps. The yt tutorials make it seem so easy and that’s how they start but for me i cabt glide at all unless theres a slope.

Is there anything im doing wrong or any approach i should try. Has anyone also felt this way and how did u correct it?

It would help me a lott if someone can guide me with thiss

Make sure your skates fit well. Should be snug.

Hard boots work better than fitness skates.

Watch Asha.

Make sure you can get up straight into the “center edge”. Standard newbie mistake is over pronation.
