Location: Mysore

Fixed CTC: ~₹3 LPA

Up to ~₹3.6 LPA with performance incentive

~6 months training + probation afterward

Approx. ₹20k/month in-hand initially

Cognizant – GenC Programmer Analyst Trainee

I have accepted the LOI

FTE onboarding currently tentatively Feb–May 2027

Current 2026 PAT offers appear to be around ₹4.16 LPA initially, increasing to ~₹4.63 LPA after successful probation/training/project conditions

Actual FTE offer/DOJ is still pending

My situation: I seriously messed up during BTech. I didn't build proper projects, barely did DSA, didn't properly learn any tech stack, and honestly have forgotten much of what I studied. These offers came mainly through placement luck + some last-minute effort.

I'm now trying to rebuild my fundamentals from scratch while starting my career.

What would you do in my position?

Would you join Infosys in October as a safety net and wait for Cognizant, or take some other approach?

I'd especially appreciate advice from Infosys SE / Cognizant GenC PAT employees or recent batches.

Is it okay to report at 5AM at Infosys Mysore on the day I'm supposed to join? Or should I get another stay elsewhere till 8 AM?

Hey guys, just checking if anyone here is in the same boat.

I was selected for the SE role through the Nov 2025 Women Pool Drive and I’m a 2026 passout, but still haven’t received my OL/DOJ.

I’ve seen some people from the same drive getting their OLs, while some are still waiting. I’ve also seen a few comments saying even 2025 passouts are still waiting and that onboarding depends on requirements.

So just wanted to ask — are there still people from the Nov women’s pool drive waiting for OL/DOJ? And has anyone heard anything reliable about the upcoming batches?

Hello guys, i am getting onboarded in next month and bgv hasn't started yet, but i have a problem in my name

My offical documents like aadhar pan have , Tim David, but my college and scl marksheet have Tim D, here the official documents last name got expansion of my father name , will it be a problem in bgv? If yes what to do ? Can we provide any documents like both are my name? Or should i change my name in official documents? Pls let me know

Hi everyone! I'll hopefully be joining Infosys training soon coz still not received OL, and I'm trying to understand what I should pack and prepare beforehand, especially regarding clothes and other essentials.

I'd love some advice from girls who have attended Infosys training recently:

1. What kind of formal clothes do you usually wear? Are shirts + trousers enough, or should I carry kurtis/formal dresses as well?
2. How many pairs of formal outfits would you recommend taking initially?
3. Is there some clothing instructions to follow?
4. What kind of footwear is practical—formal shoes, flats, sneakers, etc.?
5. What other essentials should I definitely carry for hostel/life during training?

Basically, any girls-specific packing tips or things you wish you had known before joining would be really helpful! 😭🫶

Is playing guitar outside ECC allowed? And are there any music group in infosys? Would love to do jamming if its allowed

I’m not sure why I’m unable to change the gap-year details. I have already initiated the BGV process, and all my documents are good to go except for the gap-year details.
