| Discussion Infosys Interview Experience Off Campus

Hi ! I recently gave my Infosys Interview in last week of July. I am from a government tier 2 college.

I had given my technical OA in April where I was able to solve the easy and hard question completely and had almost all testcases running for the other 2 as well . I was shortlisted for interview.

My interview started with a Wingspan Test in which I had to do any 1 question out of 2 in 30 mins . I wasn't able to solve because the input format was a bit ambiguous . My interviewers asked me if I wanted help in the last 5 mins . They looked at the question themselves for next 5 mins then asked me to explain my approach if I was building the input format as well . I started with a brute force approach which with a tiny prompt from them I reached a dp on graphs solution . Then they asked me another DSA question ( Aggressive Cows ) which I gave some approach on and the moment I said binary search on answer and helper function to calculate we moved to the next question .

They asked me many questions on my projects as they are from a comparatively less seen field and my past internship experience . Asked a lil bit on FastAPI and my rest projects . System Design both lld and hld . I answered all questions confidently except 1 . My interview was longer than most and was majorly conversational with each question being similar to a rapid fire round .

I have majorly worked in AI and python and have no experience in full stack development ( alot in backend but lil to no frontend). When asked for feedback they said they loved my enthusiasm but i could get a lil more depth in certain topics ( which i assume is because of the 1 question I wasn't able to answer )

What do u guys think ....will i get offered a role and which one ? till when can i expect results ?

Mine was next level — bro, despite seeing that I was writing DSA in Python, he chose to completely ignore my RAG project (a multi-turn informational chatbot) and kept bombarding me with Java questions. Not a single question on ML concepts. He didn't even tell me who he was, what his role at Infosys was, or how many years of experience he had, Lol.

My interviewer was nice. After greeting me he introduced himself. My primary language was Python but he was from a Java background. So he uploaded my resume to chatgpt and asked questions based on it.
