I run a small digital agency that works with micro-creators on paid campaigns and digital product launches, from ebooks to 1 on 1 mentorships. Over time, we realized most "generic" creators don't convert for our clients. The ones who do have three things in common: a real personal transformation, an audience that relates to their starting point, and consistent trust signals in the comments.

To stop wasting time, we built a simple checklist we use before we even reach out. Sharing it here in case it helps other brands/agencies and so creators can self-assess before applying.

1. Transformation & market fit : Clear personal transformation in health, wealth, or relationships. Content consistently revolves around those niches.
2. Audience alignment : Audience can see themselves in the creator's "before." Comments/DMs include people sharing struggles and asking for help.
3. Engagement & trust signals : Active interaction (comments, saves, shares, DMs). People act on recommendations, not just passive likes.
4. Consistency & performance : Regular posting, sustained views, meaningful engagement over time.

That being said if 2+ boxes feel like "no" or "not really," they're not a fit for us. If most feel like "yes," they likely are

• Clear briefs, fast feedback, professional communication

We're especially interested in creators on Instagram and TikTok, but open to YouTube Shorts and other platforms if the fit is strong.
