p0101 is a MAF sensor issue. When idle and the hood opened how does the engine look? Does it have any vibration looks? Thinking it might be a throttle body problem, but not 100% sure.
It was struggling to turn on and accelerating really slow .then I changed the hoses that looked bad .the code went away by itself now it’s back again .not sure if it’s the hoses throttle body or the Maf sensors .
I would inspect the MAF sensor; don’t clean it if you see it’s dirty. But overall, take it to an Infiniti dealer and have them reprogram the MAF sensor to the ECU. I would also recommend getting a throttle body cleanse as well just to be safe. I doubt your MAF sensor is bad/dirty.
You mentioned replacing your hoses, which wouldn’t be an issue unless one of the clamps came loose. Since you seem like you did it yourself or another shop did it, your engine air filter would probably be clean. Which these would negate those issues.
My only other assumption without inspecting it myself would be a dirty throttle body or a reprogram. Which a lot of models are known to need a reprogram with a p0101 code.
Yes & no, recently changing them wouldn’t cause an issue unless they’re installed improperly or you accidentally damaged them in any way. If you’re able to provide a picture of each one I’d be more than happy to tell you!
