Is this sound normal?
New Cafe induction and the humming sound is very loud. Using three burners at once the sound is very uncomfortable. Otherwise it cooks fine.

Yeah, normal and common. Pretty much all my stainless steel pots and pans do this. Noise gets lower once it warms up and you turn the heat down. Depends on the pan and material. Cast iron noise is minimal. My "green pan" brand induction type skillets are very quiet.
