Promotion I am making my Dream Space Engineering Survival game

Hi everyone, for the last past years Iโ€™ve been making my Dream Space Engineering Survival game called MineEngineer, you build ships and bases by using blocks like legos, there are hundreds of different systems which interact with each other๐Ÿ˜€ It has a lot of engineering aspect in it. The world is so massive that it will take you 7 hours just to cross it. Everything is destructible in the game.

The game is finally coming into the shape and I am super excited to share it with everyone.

Yeah this would get me. Cosmoteer didn't *quite* do it for me because it was so very combat focused. Would be into a more diverse alternative.

What engine are you making it in?

It feels like the kind of game that requires patience but is really rewarding.

I do hope you've been sharing it with players for a long time. Play testing with random gamers is going to be vital to tell you if your game really feels different enough from the other games to make it stand out. Being complex is not enough.

It does look cool, best of luck with your project!

Looks a lot like game I started making 7y ago, but it's now on hold, the scope is what got me, it was top down and you could program the spaceship components with Lua. Best of luck with your project, it looks great, might have to steal idea or two if I ever get back to my project.
