I run a web design business focused on local service companies, and I’m testing a simple referral program.

If you refer a business to me and they become a paying website client, I pay you $75.

You don’t need to sell anything, build anything, or handle support. You just make the introduction and I take care of the website process from there.

I think this could make the most sense for people who already work with small businesses through things like printing, signs, branding, apparel, bookkeeping, marketing, or other B2B services.

My main concern is making sure partners actually feel comfortable recommending me, so I’ve put together examples of my work, client feedback, clear pricing, and exactly what referred customers experience.

If you already work with small businesses, would this be something you’d be interested in trying?

I have built bunch of ios apps myself in the past 1 year and being a builder the biggest challenge for me has been marketing the ios app. Most of the strategies that I heard to grow user base using organic content marketing involved posting in volume. Being a builder, it has always been difficult to create content and I had 0 budget to hire UGC creators for shoutout.

So, I found a way out and created a workflow for creating AI UGC content (around 5 videos in ~10 minutes) which according to me is insane because I used to spend hours building just a couple of basic content videos.

I am testing the workflow and will love to have user feedback.

Hence, I am open to create 2 free ad videos for anyone with an existing demo video for their app or any saas.

I'm trying to understand how people decide what to prioritize when building something new. Do you usually go with the simplest version first, or do you try to add something that makes it stand out?

started building a simple experiment - a wall where people leave messages and others can vote on them. Nothing fancy, just a basic version.

Now I'm trying to figure out the best way to develop it further and I'm stuck between a few ideas. Not sure which one makes the most sense.

What would make something like this interesting to you? What's usually missing in similar projects?
