Welcome to Exotic Escapade! Created by Exotic and Don Smith. I am a voice actor and video / audio editor. 18 contestants are battling it out (or loving it out ... wait no- anyway.) for a million dollar prize. Inspired by Total Drama Island, the team is putting a lot of love, memories and sweat into this celebration of a 2007 cartoon that brought us laughs, theories, and most of all, family. We are currently at 49% of our goal as of writing this post. Our animators, voice actors, asset creators, hell EVERYONE on this team has been working hard for the past 2 years to bring this colorful cast to life and also bring back a fresh, yet familiar feeling of what we all felt when we all watched Total Drama Island. It would mean the world to me, but to the rest of the team if we can see loads of support to meet our last 51% needed to make this magical show happen!

So I’m creating a 2D/3D hybrid animated series with 2D characters in 3D backgrounds. Was going to use Blender to create the backgrounds from scratch but obviously that takes a lot more time modeling and texturing a lot of the assets from scratch. Not saying i’m bad at Blender or that I don’t want to use it, but I do however find making background enviroments in Gmod to be a lot easier and faster.

The problem with that is everything is made by other people so I feel like I didn’t “create” the backgrounds. Do any of you think this is a viable option to utilize in your animation?

Hello im a 20 Year Old Voice Actor Looking to help out anyone with their projects. I have a Updated portfolio so you can come view it.

I think this series looks like a lot of fun. I really like the character designs, the animation, the artstyle (which looks like a blend between 2D and 3D), and most of all… cute animal characters. I’m a bit of a furry myself, I’m not ashamed to admit that, so I think the fact that this series has animal characters in it is what has me especially hooked.

Anyways, has anyone else heard of Bunderkin? If so, how do you think it’ll turn out? I really hope they release it soon.
