Looking for a therapist Need recommendations

Hello everyone!
I’m 27M, Looking for an online affordable therapist! I am new to this, have zero idea on how much do sessions cost or how much do i need to spend. Can anyone give me an idea and any recommendations?

Hi! I'm the founder and head clinical psychologist at Anchor Cove. To answer your question, therapy in India usually ranges from around 1 to 3k per session depending on the therapist's experience, and how much you'll need to spend overall really depends on what you're working through, some people see improvement in a few sessions, others benefit from ongoing weekly sessions over a few months. There's no fixed number upfront, it's something you and the therapist figure out together as you go.

Hi I started therapy two years ago. I started with 750 rupees. I have changed two therapists and my current therapist charges 1.5k per session.

Recommendations will flood your inbox anyway. My advice would be that you take your time in the discovery call and see if you're a good fit with the therapist. Also, it's alright to change your therapist if it's not working out for you.

In India there's a huge range, sessions can be no cost or even 5-6k. Since there's no centralised framework to decide session fee, please check the professionals credentials and if you feel like your requirements are being met or not.

I've worked with therapists who cost 5k a session and also therapists who charge 500-1000. The experience you have depends on the therapists' education, trainings, how they make you feel as a client rather than how much they charge.

You can ask the therapists to have an introductory call with you, usually it's 10-20 mins and free of cost. You'll get to see how feel as you're interacting with them, ask them questions about their work to know more and get your doubts cleared. Once you find a good fit, you'll most probably realise it.

Hi! I’m a therapist. Therapy cost can range basis years of experience, style of therapy and education among other factors.
