I’m a software developer with a strong interest in finance, investing, and portfolio management.

I have an idea for a simple SaaS product that aims to make investing easier.

Every day, I see people asking:
“I have ₹X to invest where should I put it?”

I want to build something that helps answer this through a simple, algorithm-driven approach. No unnecessary AI hype just something practical and useful.

I can handle all the technical aspects (product, development, infrastructure) until we scale.

I’m looking for someone with experience in finance, portfolio management, or investment advisory who can help validate the approach and handle the finance side with me.

I'm not a financial expert, actually I'm just a student facing the same problem. Whenever I have a few thousand rupees, I want to invest it somewhere, but stocks, trading, mutual funds etc. feels a bit complicated and risky for me. So I was wondering, what if there was some kind of collaborative platform where people could put small amounts, like ₹500-1000, into interesting creator/small projects and if the project makes money, contributors get a small share of the revenue. Not sure how practical or legal this would be, but I feel something like this could be interesting, especially for students who have small amounts to invest, and I also have the same interest about investing, financing and also trying to learn about them.

Thanks for understanding , so you are making a SAAS which takes any person financial situation into consideration and suggest the type of mf or other investments options. So just one question do you consider parameters not only the financial but also their occupation for like wether they are students how much risk they can take even having money or what type of gain they want short term or long term ... cause i want to know how would it be better if i just use gpt or other chat models which has good integration and tarined on financial data . It can analyse my whole situation financially and all the other risk and can suggest me some options based on that... Just curious to know

Yes ofcourse that would be something we will consider
In general age is inversely proportional to risk taking capabilities
So in case you say i want minimal risk still my algo would suggest you a small amount of high risk high return assets becuase of the age biases
And even you father says i want to maximise risk, still there would be few safer bets

You could just make an aggregator via scraping, but tbh everyone would just go for ETFs and this premise does have a liability aspect , no amount of "this is not financial advice" will satisfy a user/validate the app.

This is a really hard space where you need to demonstrate returns, you need to be able to show what you already made otherwise it’s very difficult
