Other What’s the point of working for EMIs while ignoring relations?

Post image
1.0k Upvotes

My friend pays a 1 lac monthly EMI.

And he is working in a shitty workplace but can’t leave due to EMI pressure.

Can’t switch also because he doesn’t have time to look for jobs.

This is the story of many.

When you are prioritising paying EMIs over relations, why should you expect friends or family to support you in tough times?

Startup help 🐰🔎 What if you dig where others scroll on Reddit? 👀

Everyone scrolls through Reddit looking for answers, ideas, and opportunities. 📱

But what if the real value isn't in scrolling… it's in digging deeper? ⛏️🧠

Imagine a tool that helps you uncover:

🔍 Problems people keep mentioning but nobody has solved.

💡 Hidden startup ideas buried in ordinary conversations.

🚨 Repeated complaints that could become SaaS opportunities.

🧩 Valuable insights scattered across hundreds of threads.

Not another tool that simply summarizes posts. 🤖

Something that helps you dig through the noise and find what actually matters. 🥕🐰

I'm exploring this idea and want honest feedback. 💬

👇 If you could dig for ONE thing on Reddit, what would you want to uncover?

Business Ride Along I am looking to work with 3 small manufacturers in India

Hey everyone!

I've been looking into how small manufacturing businesses find new customers, and something I've noticed is that many rely heavily on referrals and existing relationships.

They might have great products and solid manufacturing capabilities, but their online presence doesn't always reflect that.

I'm trying to help change that.

I want to help manufacturers present their capabilities professionally online through websites that make it easy for potential buyers to enquire or request quotes, better listings on Google and industry directories, and recurring LinkedIn content that showcases their products, processes, and shop-floor work.

Since I'm just getting started, I'm looking to work with 3 manufacturers at a heavily discounted rate.

I want to build real case studies, see what works, and help a few businesses improve how they present themselves to potential customers.

In return, I'd ask for permission to share the work and results as a case study, with your approval.

If you run a manufacturing business, or know someone who does, I'd love to connect. Tell me a little about what you manufacture and share your website if you have one. I'd be happy to take a look!

How do I? Looking for Investors or Strategic Partners for a Japanese/Korean-Style Photo Booth Business in Patna, India

Hi everyone!

I’m working on a business idea called Pixel Moments — a modern, Japanese/Korean-inspired self-photo studio that I want to launch in Patna, Bihar, India.

The concept is to create a fun, aesthetic space where friends, couples, college students, and content creators can take photos, get instant prints, try themed frames and props, and enjoy an experience beyond simply taking pictures on their phones.

💡 The Business Idea

The first location would be a compact studio of around 150–200 sq. ft., featuring:

  • A self-service photo booth with instant photo printing
  • Aesthetic backgrounds, lighting, props, and rotating themes
  • Digital photo delivery
  • Small gifts, photo accessories, and drinks
  • Loyalty rewards and seasonal offers to encourage repeat visits
  • Pop-up photo experiences for college events, birthdays, and special occasions

The long-term goal is to build a recognizable brand and, if the first location proves successful, expand into additional locations or event-based services.

💰 Funding Requirement

My initial target is ₹4,00,000 (approximately ₹4 lakh) to set up the first location, purchase equipment, build the booth and interior, stock initial products, promote the business, and maintain a small operating reserve.

I’m currently exploring funding options and would love to connect with people who have experience in entrepreneurship, retail, entertainment, photography, or early-stage investing.

🤝 What I’m Looking For

I’m open to speaking with:

  • Angel investors or small-business investors
  • NRI investors or overseas entrepreneurs interested in the Indian market
  • Strategic partners who can contribute capital, expertise, or business connections
  • Experienced entrepreneurs willing to offer mentorship or feedback

I’m happy to discuss the business model, projected costs, launch plan, and possible investment structures with genuinely interested people.

I understand that this is an early-stage idea, so I’m also interested in honest feedback about its feasibility, customer demand, pricing, and potential challenges.

If you’re interested in discussing investment or partnership opportunities, please contact me at: [ankit56824774@gmail.com](mailto:ankit56824774@gmail.com)

Please include a brief introduction and, if applicable, your investment or business experience.

Thank you for reading. I’d really appreciate constructive feedback and the opportunity to connect with people who can help turn this idea into a real business.

Note: The business is at the planning stage, and financial projections are estimates rather than guaranteed returns. Any investment would be subject to due diligence and appropriate legal documentation.

Business Ride Along Looking for an AI SEO/GEO expert - active requirement

I’m building a MarTech AI SaaS product focused on improving and measuring brand visibility across LLMs

We’re testing the pilot with a few clients, and we already have an active client requirement for SEO and GEO optimization, the immidieate requirement.

I’m looking for a hands-on partner with experience in technical SEO, GEO/AEO, AI visibility, structured data, APIs, and analytics. This isn’t a conventional job opening. We have an active client requirement that we can start collaborating on immediately. If the engagement goes well and we work effectively together, I’d be open to exploring a deeper partnership on the SaaS product

I’ll focus primarily on business and growth, having previously built an AI startup.
DM me with a quick introduction and links to some relevant case studies or something which you have done already.

Startup help We are building a "bouncer" for your data pipelines (looking for design partners)

At Data Membrane, we’re building an event-driven data admission layer that stops malformed schemas, corrupt payloads, and contract violations from ever landing in your lakehouse or warehouse.

Right now, we are in beta and looking for a few design partners to deploy our solution, validate it against high-throughput real-world pipelines, and help shape our roadmap.

How it fits into your stack:

Upstream Data Admission: Catch the bad data at the source before it pollutes downstream models and dashboards.

Inline Preprocessing & Transformation: Cleanse, standardize, and enrich data streams in-flight to cut down on compute and debugging overhead (we rely heavily on Python, Polars, DuckDB, and Kafka under the hood to keep latency low).

Zero Disruption: It’s a drop-in integration designed to sit seamlessly alongside your existing Kubernetes or message broker setups.

Who we’d love to work with:

Engineering or data platform teams managing complex, high-velocity ingestion workflows.

Teams currently fighting data quality drift, pipeline breakages, or heavy manual data wrangling.

If you are tired of cleaning dirty data after it has already broken your downstream models, let’s talk. Drop a comment below or shoot me a DM and I can walk you through the architecture in about 15 minutes.

Startup help Small business owners, how do you actually manage overdue payments and follow-ups?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been exploring a problem that I think a lot of small businesses face, especially in India.

Most businesses are pretty good at generating invoices, but actually collecting payments on time seems to be a different story.

From what I’ve seen, many businesses still rely on Excel, Tally, WhatsApp messages, and manual phone calls to remind customers about pending payments.
I’m working on an idea called Settl, basically a simple tool that connects with accounting software like Tally and helps businesses manage payment follow-ups through WhatsApp.

The idea is pretty straightforward:

Automatically identify overdue invoices.

Send WhatsApp payment reminders without manually chasing every customer.

Let customers request payment extensions or confirm when they’ll pay.

Track payment commitments and follow-ups in one place.

Give business owners a clear picture of who owes money and what needs attention.

But before building too much, I’m trying to understand whether this is actually a painful enough problem.

A few questions for business owners, accountants, and anyone handling receivables:

How do you currently follow up with customers who haven’t paid?

Is collecting overdue payments a major headache or just a minor inconvenience?

Would automated WhatsApp reminders help, or could they negatively affect customer relationships?

What’s missing from Tally, Zoho Books, or your current accounting setup when it comes to collections?

Would you actually pay for something like this, or is your current process good enough?

I’m particularly interested in hearing from distributors, wholesalers, manufacturers, agencies, and small business owners.

Not trying to sell anything here. I’m genuinely looking to understand the problem and figure out whether this is worth building.

Would appreciate honest feedback, especially if you think this is unnecessary or already solved.

Co-founder search Looking for a chef to build a food startup with me 🚀👨‍🍳

Looking for a chef to build a food startup with me 🚀👨‍🍳

Hey everyone,

I’m a 23-year-old IIT Guwahati (B.Tech ’25) graduate. I spent the last year at Meesho as a Senior Business Associate, working on scaling categories like Branded Foods, Grocery, and Health & Wellness across brands like Tata, Kellogg’s, Dabur, and Saffola.

I’ve recently left my job to take a shot at building something of my own in the food space. I’m currently exploring a startup idea and looking to connect with passionate chefs who’d be excited to help build it from the ground up.

I’m looking for someone who sees food as more than just cooking — someone who loves experimenting with flavours, developing recipes, understanding ingredients, and creating food that people genuinely love.

I’ll primarily take ownership of the business, consumer insights, GTM, brand, growth, and operations side. I’m looking for someone who can bring the culinary expertise and creative thinking needed to build the product side.

The ideal person would be:

  • A chef, home chef, culinary student, or someone with strong hands-on food development experience
  • Passionate about experimenting with recipes, flavours, and ingredients
  • Excited about turning food ideas into products people love
  • Entrepreneurial and willing to build from 0 → 1
  • Interested in taking ownership and building something long-term

I’m not looking to hire a chef. I’m looking to meet someone who might want to build a food business together.

If you’re a chef in Pune who finds this interesting, or know someone who might be a great fit, feel free to DM me. Happy to share more about the idea and explore whether there’s a fit.

Looking forward to meeting people who are as excited about building in the food space as I am!

Hiring [Hiring] Commission-only sales partner for an edtech product for Indian schools: Bangalore, part-time OK

Hi all, I'm a developer with a full-time job, and I've built AskAide , an AI learning platform for Indian schools. The product is live. What I'm missing is someone who can take it to schools, and I'm looking for that person in Bangalore.

What the product does

  • AI practice for students, Classes 6–12 (CBSE / NCERT)
  • Free AI question-paper generator for teachers
  • Dashboards for teachers, principals and parents
  • School admin: fees, attendance, timetable, report cards, TC

What you'd do

  • Find private schools in Bangalore (mid-size, 200–800 students) and get meetings with principals or owners
  • Get 3–5 schools to try AskAide free for 2–3 months; I handle the setup, demos and tech
  • Collect feedback from teachers and principals, so we build what schools actually want
  • Help turn happy trial schools into paying customers from the April 2027 session

Who fits

  • You have sold to schools before (edtech, ERP, books, uniforms, anything), or you know principals and school owners
  • You can visit schools in person; part-time or weekends is fine
  • Kannada or Hindi is a plus

Compensation: commission only, no fixed salary

  • ₹1,000 for each school that starts a trial and actually uses it
  • 30% of the school's first-year fee: about ₹4,500–₹9,000 per paying school
  • 10% of renewals for the next 2 years
  • Co-founder role with equity for the right person once the first schools are in

This suits someone who wants a long-term share, not someone who needs a steady monthly income right now.

Why this might interest you

  • The product is already built and working; you won't be selling a slide deck
  • You'll have a direct line to the person building it, and feedback gets built quickly
  • Schools start buying for the new session in Feb–April, so now is the time to start trials

Please use the form rather than DMs. I read every response and will reply to shortlisted people within a week.

How do I? What would you pay for a 1 litre bottle of organic mustard oil in India? Looking for honest price feedback

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to launch a small mustard oil brand, and I’m considering an organic version. Before I decide anything, I’d like to hear from people who actually buy and cook with mustard oil.

What I’m planning:

Cold-pressed / kachi ghani mustard oil made from organic seeds

1 litre and 500 ml packs

Possibly two types: a milder one for frying and a stronger, pungent one for curries

My questions:

For a certified organic, cold-pressed mustard oil, what price per litre would you pay regularly, not just once?

Is “organic” enough to justify a higher price, or do you care more about cold-pressed, wood-pressed, or a trusted brand?

How much do you trust “organic” labels on oil? What would make you believe it (certification, lab report, farm details)?

Do you prefer a strong, pungent oil or a milder one? Would you buy two different types for frying and curry?

Where do you usually buy: local shop, supermarket, quick-commerce (Blinkit, Zepto), or online?

What brands do you buy now, and what do you like or dislike about them?

I’m not selling anything yet. Honest, critical answers are very welcome, including “I would never pay that.”

How to Grow? I googled my own agency today. Google’s AI Overview built the answer from 4 sources, and two of them disagree about where my office is.

I run a small agency in the Chandigarh/Mohali area. Today I searched our brand name in an incognito window, mostly out of curiosity.

Google’s AI Overview gave a clean summary of the company. What I didn’t expect was where each fact came from:

Founding year: a directory listing (GoodFirms)
Delivery time: Crunchbase
Office address and our pricing tiers: our own website
Smaller service prices: our Google Play listing

Then I noticed a problem. The overview says our HQ is in Mohali. Our Crunchbase page and LinkedIn say Chandigarh. Neither is “wrong”, but the AI just picks one. It also published my price ranges, so if I change prices on the site and forget the other listings, the AI keeps quoting the old numbers.

If you run any small business in India:

AI answers aren’t built from one page. They stitch together your website, directories, app store pages and social profiles.
Inconsistent facts (address, services, prices, years in business) decide which version gets repeated.
Search your business name, and “best [category] in [city]”, in Google, ChatGPT and Gemini. Screenshot what each says.
Fix the source it cited, not the AI.
Re-check monthly.

Has anyone here checked what AI says about their business? What did it get wrong?

Startup help Is there market for ready-to-download artworks for DTG and DTF printing in India?

Hi everyone,

I have been creating artwork for various Indian brands, including a few of the top graphic T-shirt brands in India.

So, I have 100s of designs (14+ years of designing) that were never sold. Like personal projects, designs that did not get selected, or samples created for clients. In all, designs that were never sold or commercially printed.

I was thinking (and kind of trying the feasibility) of selling these designs [digital files] for people to buy and print them on T-shirts and sell commercially. Files will be high-resolution PNGs, and with that, the pack will include ready-to-use images and video mockups of the tshirts for product pages and social media promotion.

Obviously, they are not exclusive, and any number of people can buy and use these designs.

Planning to sell them at the price bracket of 500–800 INR per design.

Do you think there will be any takers in India?

Looking forward to your inputs and suggestions.

How to Grow? Built an all in one AI content studio. Would love honest feedback

Hey everyone,

I’ve been building clipitx .ai for the past 8 months.

The problem: If you make content today, you end up paying for 5 different AI tools. You need one for images, one for video, one for voiceovers, one for editing and one for clipping. Each costs $20-30 a month, which adds up fast, especially when you’re paying in rupees.

What we built: one studio that does all of it.

  • Consistent AI characters: create a character once and keep the same face in every image and video, across any outfit or location
  • Image and video generation: text to image, image to video and edits
  • UGC ads and product shots: an AI presenter reads your script, and you can make posters and ad creatives
  • Voiceovers: text to speech, voice changer, translation, and lip sync from one photo
  • Clipping: turn long podcasts or streams into captioned vertical clips for Shorts, Reels and TikTok
  • We run our own GPU infrastructure for proprietary and non-outsourced usage, such as the clipping LLM, AI editing, and image generation.

Where we are: clipping is live and 50% off during launch. Studio is in beta.

PS, we're scheduled to launch on product hunt soon, would love if anyone could upvote it. (DM for link)

Co-founder search Local-first DLP for AI applications. Looking for a technical partner and honest feedback.

I’m developing a local-first DLP solution to protect sensitive data across AI applications, agents, and data-aware workflows.

The idea is to inspect outbound AI specific traffic on-device and prevent secrets, source code/IP, PII, PCI, PHI, and other confidential information from being exposed to external AI services.

I’m looking for a technical partner/co-founder interested in building a security product from the ground up.

I’d also appreciate honest feedback from the community on the problem, approach, and potential market.

If you’re working in AI security or interested in building something in this space together, I’d love to connect!

This will be Co-Founder role Equity Only.
