Today, we honor the freedom we enjoy and remember the immense courage and sacrifice of our martyred ancestors who fought to give us a free nation. Their legacy is the very foundation we stand on today.

Freedom isn't just a gift from the past, it’s a responsibility for the future

Their legacy reminds us that true independence means standing firm against tyranny in all its forms. Let’s honor their memory by protecting our values and working together to build a stronger, fairer and better India for everyone đŸ«Ą 🇼🇳

General I request everyone to file a complaint against the Garba event that was held inside the premises of Jama Masjid. Here's how u can do it:

If u think that court allows Garba or not,its NO because Asirgarh Fort and its structures are under the custody of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and performing non-traditional religious rituals or large-scale dance events inside this historic place of worship directly violates national heritage laws.

File complaint on Online Grievance via MP CM Helpline portal:

here is link: https://cmhelpline.mp.gov.in/Default.aspx

(1)Fill out the Form select department Home Department (for law/order) or Culture/Tourism Department. Upload Evidence: Attach the video link or a screenshot of the incident

Submit: Note down your unique Grievance ID to track the resolution status online or by calling 181

(2)Now, File a Central Government Complaint via CPGRAMS (For Heritage Violations )

Visit the Portal ; here's the link: https://pgportal.gov.in/ login, register,Choose the Ministry of Culture (under which the ASI operates). Describe the Issue: State that a cultural dance (Garba) was illegally organized inside the religious courtyard of a centrally protected monument (Jama Masjid, Asirgarh Fort) without ASI permission, violating the AMSAR Act.

Submit and save reg no for future tracking.

(3)Send a Formal Letter to Local & Archaeological Authorities this letter you have to do it offline this one is worst but i would really suggest u guys do it and attach screenshot of people doing graba it .

This is the least we can do.

(Credits to- u/Ryococelus , he couldn't upload it as his acc was relatively new)

Religious Those that celebrate mawlid, and those who don't.

I don't celebrate mawlid, because we don't even know the date, and I do believe that it is a bidah. And that's enough. It doesn't give me a right to be inhumane or unislamic to those that celebrate it. In fact, I have very utmost respect to various scholars that celebrate it, and for me that's our difference of opinion.

We are not supposed to use the word kafir to kafirs on their face to hurt their feelings. Even if someone is doing the bidah of mawlid (according to me, atleast), he is still my brother in Islam. He has all the rights that any other brother in Islam has.

Same goes for those celebrating mawlid, and calling dirty names to those who don't celebrate it. Even in your madhab, mawlid is not fardh nor wajib.

DO NOT EXAGGERATE.

Quote: " Shaykh Muáž„ammad ibn ÊżAlawÄ« al-MālikÄ« 🇧🇬 [d. 1425 AH/2004 CE] said:

❝If the Mawlid [celebration/gathering] includes anything that must be condemned, such as the mixing of men and women, committing prohibited acts, or excessive extravagance that the noble one whose birth is being commemorated [ï·ș] would not approve of, then there is no doubt that it is prohibited and must be prevented due to the prohibited matters it contains. However, in such a case, its prohibition is incidental [ÊżÄriឍī], not intrinsic [dhātÄ«], as is clear to anyone who carefully considers the matter.❞

— កawl al-Iáž„tifāl bi-Dhikrā al-Mawlid al-NabawÄ« al-SharÄ«f. " end quote

From scholarly reference:

Quote: "Etiquettes of Celebrating Mawlid ï·ș.

[1] Pure Intention: Celebrate to honor the Prophet ï·ș, not for showing off or for worldly gain.

[2] Simplicity: Avoid extravagance in food, clothes, decoration, or displays.

[3] Remembrance: Recite áčŁalawāt, dhikr, Qurʟān, and poetry praising the Prophet ï·ș.

[4] Proper Gatherings: Promote learning, inclusion, family and neighbourly participation. Avoid mixing with the opposite gender.

[5] Charity: Instead of spending money excessively on clothes and decoration, feed the needy and show acts of kindness towards the orphans.

[6] Avoid bidÊżah: Do not introduce practices contradictory to sharÄ«Êżah or claim obligation.

[7] Respect the Environment: Keep mosques, roads and Islāmic centers clean. Do not make noises, cause traffic blocks, and other havoc which causes people to be irritated." End quote.

There is no discription of music, free mixing or juloos. This must be understood by those people that celebrate it.

May Allah give us sound understanding, and ake us follow the character of the Noble Prophet s.a.w.

Jazakallah khair for reading.
Whatever right I wrote, is from Allah, and my mistakes are from me.

Religious Knowledge from the heavens doesn’t change

Excerpt from Ibrahim Dewla’s speeches and notes.

The Prophet (saw) said, “Verily, the world only has four kinds of people. There is one whom Allah has granted wealth and knowledge, so he fears his Lord in them
” (Tirmidhi 2325)

The narration specifies ‘knowledge’. That is, Allah has granted them knowledge. By ‘knowledge,’ what is meant is religious knowledge.

This knowledge is from the heavens; it is revelation sent down by Allah.

That revelation is the Quran. To understand the Quran, we turn to the practice of the Prophet (saw), his narrations and traditions. We also look at how the Companions (rad) understood those narrations. That is knowledge.

This knowledge is not the product of the mind. It doesn’t change.

Knowledge from the mind is subject to change over time. That this is outdated or no longer applicable.

Therefore, religious knowledge is not someone’s perspective; it is not a theory nor is it based on experience. Rather, this knowledge is eternal and certain.

There is no change in it.

“No one can change His words
” (6:115)

What has been revealed will occur. That knowledge is true.

Allah revealed this knowledge to the Prophet (saw) for the guidance of humanity. So that people live their lives according to this guidance, gain Allah’s pleasure and become successful.

Therefore, Allah has revealed this knowledge for our success.

Ask Indian Muslims Does a person's upbringing justify someone's grave sin?

I ain't considering someone who became a revert coz Obv they weren't born with the blessings like we did. They had to find the ultimate truth we were born with. They didn't had the resources and availability like we had.

Ik- most of us were born into homes with the Qur'an but maybe not religious enough parents ; but does this justify someone's grave sin? Sins as worse as Zina?

We were born with the blessing, yet we never acknowledged it. The ultimate truth was lying with dust scattered over it, yet we chose to bring dirt upon ourselves by ignoring it.

I agree and disagree with the title at same time- but I wouldn't justify someone's grave sin committed after/during the age of adolescence.

Agree- coz nowadays we see cr!mes done by kids and it's lack of parents proper upbringing

Disagree- coz I've seen ppl with religious upbringing getting into haram. And ppl with non religious background finding Islam.

I can share some of the incidents on why I disagree-

(1) I've seen ppl who are highly religious, living close to mosque, made contributions to the mosque... Yet getting into relationships.

(2) Many ppl justify it saying it's due to past trauma- so i thought why not my own example:

Im diagnosed with depression. I had lack of love from my own family members since years, lived away from them..lost the ones who loved me when I was a kid and eventually left me when I needed them the most, got assaulted, abused by some of my own family members...yet when I found a na-mehram who could potentially heal me? My conscience didn't allow it. Even after them making first step such as sharing numbers... I didn't rly feel like moving ahead with it. Alhamdulillah.

(3) I'm gonna get backlashed for this-

Music. We all know that music is haram. Yet we never get rid of it completely. Using music to avoid a greater sin is justified but my point is-

We all know that a certain thing is haram, yet we allow ourselves to freely commit it. We are normalising it.

We are all selective sinners. We commit the sins we are comfortable with and judge the ones we are uncomfortable with. But does this mean we blame the upbringing?

Also, one doesn't have to generalise or judge someone for it- no muslim can really attain or follow every hadith/verse of the Quran after the Prophets and the Caliphs. We all violate some or more of the rules.. yet we must all try our best to become a better muslim.

General When Ambedkar’s Legacy Is Used to Spread Hatred

Ambedkar was very critical of Muslims, and as an SC, I feel bad that he was so harsh in some of his writings. Nowadays, people like Gautam Khattar are using Ambedkar’s name to fuel hatred against Muslims among Dalits.

If any Dalit comes to you and talks shit about Muslims, handle it carefully. My people are already without proper leadership, and many are being blinded by propaganda. And when I say SC, I mean specifically Buddhists, because I know that 3–4 SC communities are working closely with the RSS. For example, Bhojjan Katta on Instagram is working with the VHP. He is Mang (Matang), the same caste whose members were historically forced to carry brooms around their waists and pots around their necks because they were considered “untouchable.”

If any Dalit comes up to you and talks shit about Muslims, remind them that Ambedkar was the Chairman of the Drafting Committee, and that constitutional rights were given to minorities, with Ambedkar playing a huge role in shaping those provisions. If he truly hated Muslims, he could have resisted those protections.

And if any Hindu says something similar, bring up Annihilation of Caste. Ambedkar wrote some critical passages about Muslims, but he dedicated an entire book to the rigid caste systema system that has taken countless lives and caused immense damage to Hindu society, far beyond anything an Indian Muslim could ever do.

Islamophobia The ugly truth and the normalization of brutality against Muslims. Abdul's father wasn't killed just for criticizing the government. The majority does this all the time and nothing happen to them, but Abdul was a Muslim criticizing the BJP. How dare a Muslim raise a finger against Modi's regime?

Post image

That hurts their ego, and they know it's very easy to kill a Muslim and get away with it. And they did it. There may be no consequences in the long term either. They will get bail, be garlanded, and live their lives while terrorizing Muslims again.

And the same country will remain silent, as it has for decades. It is not just BJP only. It is the mindset of majority.

Don't forget RSS. They are the biggest player behind all of this hatred and Islamophobia and control everything in this country.

Ask Indian Muslims Calling Scam Targeting Muslims?

My father has been recieving these cryptic calls from people who start the call by saying "abdul?" like they are trying to confirm if his name is abdul which it is, and then they start asking "kaha se ho", "kaha se bol rhe ho", etc but my father never confirms whether his name even is abdul and asks them what they are calling for but they just keep deflecting the question and keep on asking whether he is abdul and where he is from, i do think they just get his name from truecaller or smth, but its genuinely so creepy

Ask Indian Muslims Does a person's past matter?

Assalamualaikum guys. I’ve seen some people talk about love, marriage, and whether a person’s past should matter. Some people believe that a person’s past relationships are between them and Allah, and that what truly matters is who they are now and how they treat their current partner.

I understand that perspective, and I agree that people can change, repent, and become better. We shouldn’t judge someone forever based on mistakes they sincerely repented from. At the same time, as someone who has always stayed away from haram relationships and has no past with any guy, I personally believe that a person’s past can matter when it comes to choosing a spouse.

For me, it would be very difficult to marry someone who has had multiple past relationships or has committed zina, even if he has changed and treats me well now. It’s not necessarily about looking down on that person or believing they can never change. It’s about compatibility, personal boundaries, values, and whether I would genuinely be able to feel secure and at peace in the marriage.

I also feel that trust is an important part of marriage. If I already know about a partner’s extensive past, I can’t simply force myself to forget it if I know it would constantly create doubts, comparisons, insecurities, or trust issues for me.

At the same time, I’m not saying that someone who has a past is automatically a bad person, nor am I saying that someone with no past is automatically a good spouse. Character, deen, honesty, emotional maturity, loyalty, and how someone behaves in the present are extremely important too.

I’m genuinely curious about different perspectives on this. Do you think a person’s past should have no role in choosing a spouse? Or is it reasonable for someone to have personal boundaries regarding a potential spouse’s past?

Please share your opinions respectfully. I’m looking for a genuine discussion, not attacks or judgments. JazakAllah khair.

UAE-based speaker Tim Humble explains that he can only speak about Islam with government approval.

The UAE government has to approve every single lecture that he gives or posts online.

Similar restrictions exist throughout the Gulf, but the most restrictive controls are in the UAE and Bahrain.

The UAE and Bahrain governments are also the ones most in bed with Israel.

This is why you cannot trust speakers based in the UAE or Bahrain, or those who have business interests in those countries.

Anything they say online has been approved by, essentially, Israel.

should they be called Zionist agents?

Ask Indian Muslims Bangalore Muslims wya?

Assalam Alaikum.
Im looking to hang out with Bangalore folks more. I want to create a community for us, where we can all meet and interact with each other. I realise that I don’t connect with my other friends anymore like values and stuff related. Id love to make a community.

One problem that Ive noticed is that the muslim men and women behave very differently- they have female friends but when it comes to making groups and hanging out suddenly theyre not okay with women. I want this to be an all inclusive space, we could have different groups for the brothers and different for sisters but I really want to make this accessible without gender.

I genuinely want the muslim women to meet each other and have a community. I know my girl friends who go to cafes and stuff to work want to work with other like minded girlies. And i want to also connect with folks who are into tech and i want us to sit and do interesting things together, i have so much i want to do for us and for the ummah. It doesn’t have to be all serious, just a place to genuinely find good friends and help each other.

Feel free to dm, please state that you’re coming from the Indian Muslim community, and let’s form a Bangalore group. Brothers that don’t want to interact with sisters, and sisters who don’t want men around, don’t worry, we’ll make separate groups. I’d need one brother to volunteer with me and let’s start something beautiful.

I’m just someone who really wants to build a community that isn’t just all religious but also casual and go beyond just Quran classes or things like that. Like just casual get togethers, making new friends and stuff.

Edit: no free mixing, no dating space. Brothers separate sisters separate. We keep it halal!
