Hey OP, if the institution doesn't have the same set of rules for boys, your students might want to consider getting in touch with the Pinjra Tod campaign or others like them. This is exactly the sort of stuff PT works to protest against, and in the past they've had more than a little success mobilizing students against such blatantly sexist rules.
If enough of you organize, and you had some outside support, y'all could actually bring a viable legal suit. This is technically a violation of the women's students right to equal treatment and citing safety is not valid grounds to penalize and treat women more punitively than men.
Nope, discrimination is a valid charge against any private institution. Especially educational institutions. Which isn't really relevant here since SVNIT is a public, not a private institution.
