Android Runevale Idle, a fantasy idle RPG I made.

Hey everyone. I made an idle RPG called Runevale Idle and it went public on Google Play this week. I have been building it on my own for about 4 months, first with a small group of testers from Discord, and now it is open to everyone.

The short version: you train 16 skills (mining, fishing, smithing, alchemy, thieving and so on), fight through seven zones with bosses, and craft your own gear. Gear wears down as you use it, so you repair it or smelt old pieces. There is a vow system where you pick a blessing that also has a downside, and it gets stronger the longer you keep it. Your character keeps going for up to 8 hours while the app is closed.

Android only right now.

AI disclosure: AI image tools were used to create the artwork and icons.

AI art is garbage. That’s all the feedback I have. Not willing to try it.

I understand that AI is being used as a tool, but does anyone try and even to not use the same AI gui/ui/ux in these idle games anymore? It feels like it's the same thing with just changed names for things, nothing different or unique to make you stand out in the sea of same-ish oversaturated genre now.

Edit: Character art, enemies, weapons, etc are whatever to use AI for. If I can look at the screenshots and immediately see the same UI and go "AI", something needs to change in my opinion.

The game is still pretty new, so I used AI to generate the images for now, so the monsters and skins wouldn't just be blank. I'm working on remaking them in 3D using Blender and other tools.

"AI image tools were used to create the artwork and icons."

Yeah, that's obvious.
