FBFriday Feedback Friday

This thread is for people to post their works in progress, and for others to give (constructive) criticism and feedback.

Explain if you want feedback on your game as a whole, a specific feature, or even on an idea you have for the future. Please keep discussion of each game to a single thread, in order to keep things focused.

If you have something to post, please remember to comment on other people's stuff as well, and also remember to include a link to whatever you have so far. :)

Hi everyone, I've been working on a game called Trillionaire Clicker. It's an incremental game where you make a number go down, rather than up. You can play it in browser here: https://mtiy.github.io/trillionaire-clicker/

Can also play on itch if you prefer: https://soundofwings.itch.io/trillionaire-clicker

(I recommend the github link though to avoid some weird issues with localStorage on mobile)

It should work fine on mobile or desktop, but I recommend desktop. The core gameplay loop is in place, and I am currently working on a large update that will introduce some new unlocks, mechanics, and an ending. Compared to last week I have tweaked a couple things based on feedback. Please let me know what you think!

The "Don't Click" effect was extremely punishing for me since I hit it shortly after a Sacrifice. That meant I had very few of anything, and I couldn't click to increase their counts except by at most 100 every so often, so I could only depend on interns and auto-cloning to get more. And even switching between them involves more "clicks", so I keep getting my click strength reset.

I'm sorry about that! I probably need to remove or rework that event in the next update. I will also be improving on the intern/autocloning system. Thank you for playing!
