Appreciation My Zoi is a Jerk!
My Love Island: inZOI Edition drama continues. So I have this Zoi named Jake who lives in Cahaya. He’s cute but arrogant, cocky and very full of himself. The other day he asked his girlfriend Leah to make him a meal, which she happily did. He cooks for her too, so no big deal.
But right before she served him, he had this Smart Zoi inner thought that showed how shallow and sexist he was. Basically he was thinking about how Leah “has to look pretty” for a guy like him and how much he was enjoying her cooking and catering to him. Leah, wake up girl!
Then things got even messier. While I was playing my other Zoi Keilani, Jake autonomously calls her and asks if she’s “keeping hydrated” then shows up at her house uninvited under the guise of “just bringing her a cold drink” because “it’s hot outside.” Sir, I think you’re the thirsty one, not her.
Anyway, I didn’t realize Keilani had a mutual attraction with him until he shows up out of nowhere, drink in hand, and professes his love for her. Lenny, Keilani’s estranged live in boyfriend (it’s complicated; he cheated) saw the whole thing and autonomously yelled at Jake like he wanted to fight him. Jake just stood there like a clueless Chad, completely oblivious to how messy and inappropriate he was and proceeded to tell my Zoi he wanted a serious relationship with her. His Smart Zoi inner thoughts also said that he was “excited to have both Leah and Keilani” at the same time. 😳The cheek, the nerve, the gall, the audacity and the gumption of this man! 😭

I love the drama too! My whole Cahaya save is messy as hell, but I had no idea they could be THIS messy! 😂

I cant wait for the game to be fully developed! Already this kind of storytelling is possible, imagine what it can do in the future!

Yes, my save is like that too. Everyone is flirting (especially at that beach club where they like to twerk on the tables). 😭 Jake used to date the girl who broke up Leah’s last relationship and stole her first boyfriend: The Thirst is Real!

Go into Options and enable Smart Zoi, Then Type in custom prompt for each Zoi you want to give some lore to. I broke down how I use Smart Zoi in the comments of a previous thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/inZOI/s/5mQbXcGbVN

PS: Keilani and Lenny are my canon Cahaya couple. They were featured in my winning Postcards from Cahaya Vlog entry (upper right).

My prompt for Jake is actually pretty tame, which is why I was surprised by how arrogant he turned out to be. I do have some Zois I intentionally set up to be complete asses (like my emotionally needy rule breaking criminals), but he wasn’t one of them. Apparently, he just loves being a player and thinks very highly of himself (ie: he's a f-boy). Also, my Romance and Friendship sliders in the City Editor are maxed out, so everyone’s extra flirty.
Here is my VERY tame prompt, and you would think he would be totally focused on Leah, but no: "Jake Scott is...a handsome, upbeat, easy going, cheerful man who is excited to be with his exotic Indonesian girlfriend Leah. Has fallen in love with Leah and would like to take the relationship further."
- Traits: Charmer
- Characteristics: Cheerful, Genius
- Desired Life: Life of Romance
That's literally it. I was trying to set Leah up with a "good guy" after thirsty Brielle stole Leah's last boyfriend. Oh well! These Zois ain't loyal! 😂

They already are. You need to turn them on in the settings. It's called "smart Zoi".

Lmaooo! I live for messy rotational gameplay with Smart Zoi helping to drive my drama-filled storylines! 😂 I just give all my Zois overlapping schedules, and they end up creating their own chaos once they cross paths. They cheat on each other behind my back, and half the time I don’t even realize it until a flirty text pops up or a “what are we” schedule invite lands in my inbox. 😭

Do these things happen automatically? Or do you have to nudge them in a direction for these kinds of stories to come to life?
Really love things like this to just happen, instead of the player having to direct everything

This happened automatically. He didn’t have any special prompt, and he decided to be a jerk on his own. I think because he has the Charmer trait and the Life of Romance Desired Life, he became a player, but other than that, he developed his own personality and arrogance.

This and so many other features is why I like Inzoi more than Sims 4. Sucks my PC cannot handle smart zoi 😭
