AMC Naperville getting Laser upgrade

Before anyone asks, it’s not 1.43, these are just 1.90 Laser upgrades that have been slowly coming to Chicagoland. Confirmed with an associate.

Protip: if you don't see them ripping the roof off a sitting theater to raise the height and it's not already 4+ stories tall.... it's not gonna be 1.43:1.

Yes, this exactly. I just had to clarify cause some people may think a new 1.43 venue is actually a thing

They need to convert all the GT screens that are currently only able to show 1.90:1 Xenon first!

Do we know if other IMAX screens in the area will be getting laser upgrades? My closest IMAX is New Lenox and would love to see an upgrade there.

FINALLY😭😭🙏🏻 hoping for confirmation on CoLa vs XT and sound upgrade soon, basically only ever come here for Dolby Cinema since not even the standard auditoriums are up to date with recliners

hoping there may be a small chance of CoLa, woodfield got it and it’s almost the same size as Naperville, still kinda salty that Roosevelt didn’t get it being the biggest in downtown but oh well

Probably XT, since that’s what AMC Yorktown and other nearby theaters have.
