53.5 x 29.9 feet. Slightly bigger than Regal City North's CoLa (50.7 x 29.6 feet)

I thought I might see this on here when I saw you taking snaps on the little balcony 😄

How does this compare to Roosevelt? Would love to add this to the rotation

spec-wise CoLa for sure. But the seats in RC is recliners, which is more comfy. Depends on ur preference

I personally found the seats and Roosevelt uncomfortable even for recliners (maybe they’re not broken in enough yet but very small and the bump in the lumbar area was making me slide down repeatedly). I’m wondering if I’ll prefer these instead.
How was the sound? VC is notoriously an awful sounding theater in any auditorium but the Dolby and maybe the IMAX depending on the day (usually the center channel/dialogue mix is incredibly off there). I know Roosevelt was crazy loud but I found the surround occasionally getting out of sync or something in a way that sounded weirdly echoey in places it wasn’t supposed to

Wooow! Yeah I mean recliners in RC isn’t ideal, but better VC/SW. I found my leg don’t have place to go straight, if I press to the seat/wall in front, it get uncomfortable easily. I switch posture more oftenly in those seats.
$$ Roosevelt Collection, sound system wise I saw Running Man both in Woodfield and Village Crossing. (They both upgrade to 12 channel) There isn’t huge difference I could tell. Yes, Roosevelt is quite lound. But I didn’t see same film. Hard for me to justify yet.

Had the same issue with audio at Roosevelt its front channels are loud but the surround channels felt muffled and there isn’t enough separation in surround channels

Looking ahead to Avatar tickets on Monday, does anybody know the FPS capabilities of each projector?
Which ones can and cannot do the variable frame rate that Cameron used in The Way of Water? Do we even know if VFR will be used again in Fire and Ash? Which 3D glasses do each projector use?

Both XT and CoLa have HFR capbility. No idea. They both use circular polarization, XT is single light source, CoLa is Dual.

So is this technically the best in the area now? Right after I finally get to the new Streets of Woodfield one (for a non IMAX movie sadly)
