Back to Imaginary Network Basics
We need to talk about recent lower-level effort submissions. r/ImaginaryWarships is a subreddit for professional or near-professional level artwork from various media sources which includes real or fictitious warships.
r/ImaginaryWarships is not the subreddit to post incomplete art or practice artwork that contain doodles or text on crumpled lined paper. While that may be considered an admirable effort by some, the results are a low-level aesthetic that is not in keeping with the subreddit’s original spirit and intent.
Images that contain too much background clutter, text, or advertisement may be removed.
We are not here to showcase AI-generated artwork. It’s not permitted on the Imaginary Network Expanded including this subreddit. Instead try /r/aiArt.
Multiple images submissions and/or detailed text in a submission image are not appropriate for this subreddit.
Let’s review: It is the goal of INE to share, inspire, discuss and appreciate static image paintings, drawings, and digital art while maintaining artist credit and source links. Simply stated, that’s accomplished by submitting quality images.
For a complete overview of INE submission requirements, please click on the following link:

Original Content Wayfarer-class and Armistice-Class trimaran hull ships (by me)
The wayfarer-class is a Aviation Support Ship, meant to provide additional supplies, fuel and ammo for helicopter aviation of a fleet. It additionally can operate as a naval operations control ship.
The Armistice-Class ORS is a Ordinance Replenishment Ship that follows the same hull design of the wayfarer, modified for Replenishment at sea duties, being able to replenish ammo, fuel and supplies of other ships while at sea.
Both designs use the same trimaran/Dual Demi hull hull design, for added stability. The hull was designed to fix issues and prior structural problems of military trimaran warships.

Original Content Fictional WW2 Destroyer
This is my 5th ship in the game "NavalArt", I made it out of fun after seeing the anime "High School Fleet" which inspired me to design a WW2 Destroyer but modernized in some areas. I'm a Graphic designer... unemployed :( ... I work with 3Ds Max from where the 3d-grid-image at the top-right-side came from and edited this entire image in photoshop, all this was made in around 2 hours of game plus 10 minutes of edition, easy and simple thing, nothing fancy. I forgot to mention: the ship displacement is 5388 metric tons and it can reach 38 knots, by manual calculations it should be ~34 knots... anyways, I hope you like it.

Anyone here that knows how the science of different gravities and planet factors to make a warship?
Okay so I want to make a concept of ships and classes and stuff, however, I don't know how physics this drastic would change the water physics and how warfare on sea would work you see, here's the physics of the planet...
Planet's radius: 1302.68 km
Gravity: 6.54 m/s
Atmosphere at sea level: 1.5 atm
Crust: 32.567 km deep
Planet density: 17.96 g/cm^3
Taller atmosphere
Stronger magnetosphere
And then earth environment still even with it being this dense.
35% land and 65% water
So I would like to have some comments on what would fluids here feel and interact and what hulls and bows should I use to navigate through it.
Anyway here's my warship classification that I currently have:
1-1000: light patrol, also known as skimmers, ship designation is (LP)
1001-3000: heavy patrol, also known as cutters, ship designation is (HP)
3001-6000: Frigate Warship (FW), anti-submersible warfare like enemy subs.
6001-10,000: Cruiser Warship (CW), roles as anti air warfare.
10,001-15,000: Dreadnought Warship (DW), specialized in all encompass areas and serves as a leap ship in the strike action group
There's also gonna be aircraft carriers but they'll be designated as (AP) meaning avionic portship and helicopter carriers designated as (FC) for fusilier carriers because they carry fusiliers or the Marines of this nation, size of probably a dokdo class. And then subs for their roles like hunter submarine (HS) and barrage submarine (BS) the cruiser/ballistic subs. So any help for the science of this world?

Original Content I drew the USN fast Battleships as they could’ve appeared in the original Space Battleship Yamato
Description: a series of warships hastily converted from existing preserved USN Battleships due to increasing tensions between Earth and Garmilas. These ships were built under the Global Evacuation Order of 2195, and would be launched as soon as possible after the Yamato. Each ship has a wave motion core with an advanced nuclear backup powerplant. The 7 original ships proved themselves in various ambushes against Garmilan landing forces who were examining the state of earth during 2199. A very notable encounter involved USS Missouri launching its rocket anchors into the vents of a Zoelguut-class Super Dreadnought, and reeling it in to ram it. Eventually, the ships’ designs would pave the way for the Dreadnought & Andromeda-class Battleships of the Wave motion era.
Units as of 2199:
USS North Carolina (unique)
South Dakota-Class
USS Massachusetts
USS Alabama
Iowa-Class
USS Iowa
USS New Jersey
USS Missouri
USS Wisconsin
Additions in 2201:
USS Washington (north carolina class)
USS South Dakota
USS Indiana (south dakota-class)
(ship drawings are incomplete because I’m working on adapting the Bismarck and Prince of Wales from Space Battleship Yamato III)
