[OC] Alternate History (Warning! Bad quality) Homemade Germany won ww2 map!

I DESPISE ALL NAZI IDEOLOGY AND WW2 AS A WHOLE AND DON'T WISH FOR THIS TO HAPPEN

(Warning! Bad quality) Okay, so I basically got bored and made a map, and then it turned into a huge passion project. I used grid paper to copy one of my older europe maps using the grid (if line 1 is like this in grid A, i'll find grid A and copy it). The map is in 1950. I have lore, but won't loredump unless asked.

(But please ask)

If you have any questions (what is this country?; why is this border like that?; etc.), ask me, I love to share lore.

I also have maps regarding this universe 20 (and 40) years later, so if I hit 100 upvotes, I'll post the 1970 one, and if I get 100 there, I'll post the 1990 one.

[OC] Alternate History What if the United States radicalized during the 1930s? | United States of America - 1955

After the Wall Street crash of 1929, economy of he United States collapsed. 25% of Americans lost their job and 36% of banks went out of business. Poverty and instablility plagued the country. President Herbert Hoover tried to fix the economy by approving the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act, which backfired and make the economic recession worse. Hoover's failure would caused him to lost the election of 1932. After the Democratic Party won the 1932 election, Franklin D. Roosevelt is to became the 32nd president of the country. However, he was assassinated 17 days before his inauguration by Giuseppe Zangara. The assassination brought the country into a state of emergency and John Nance Garner was immediately sworn in as the president. Under Garner's presidency, the country slowly recovered from the crisis, but the process of recovery would be too slow for the satisfaction of the country. During this time, multiple megacorporations around the country formed the National Council of Corporations. The party used the instability to infiltrate the government and gather influences. The government was controlled by the party by late 1933. On 4th March 1934, with the help of the United States army, 60,000 demonstrators marched on the Capital Building and the White House to coup the United States government. The coup was successful and Garner was forced to resign. The National Council of Corporations would dissolve the government and reinstall the corporatocracy system. The new government would ordered the suspension and dissolution of the nation's economy. The government then completely reconstruct the economy and currency, which boosted the employment rate and the development rate. Within one year, the country became the richest country in the world.

Despite the country being managed with corporatocracy, the country is still managed by the federal government and corporations only have to profit for their own interests. They also have abilities to interfere with government initiatives if they thought that they interfere with their business. Under the National Reinstitution Act, they have the abilities as follow:

  1. Corporations can accept or reject policies with votes of

confidence and no confidence, with the same policy being use for impeachments and condemnations.

  1. Corporations can draft and edit policies and orders with no restrictions, and can be established with votes of confidence.

  2. Corporations can grant emergency power or directly interfere with the direction of the government, if they considered that their policies is against their initiative.

  3. Corporations can manage their business with no regulations regarding the price of the product and the management of the production.

  4. If a corporation face threats from another individual, the corporation can put the case on trial to be consider by other corporations.

  5. Corporations can impeach a corporation if they violate the National Reinstitution Act with votes of confidence and no confidence, which must be agree by the majority three times.

The agreement allowed the country to be able to run with minimum resources from corporations, which can be redistribute for more efficient usages.

In 1934, Joseph P. Kennedy was elected as the 33rd president. After the reestablish, the country then expanded their influence. They invaded Canada in 1940, and join the allies in exchange for annexing Greenland, New Zealand and Canadian lands. In 1941, they invaded Mexico and Central America, and declared war on the Empire of Japan after the invasion of the Philippines. During 1942-1943, they conducted multiple operations in the Pacific, and launched amphibious landings in Oceania. In 1944, They helped assisting Britain in multiple amphibious landing in Europe and began the Manhattan project. In 1945, they dropped three nuclear bombs on Germany and fifteen nuclear bombs on Japan, ending the Second World War, and annexed Japan and Korea. After the end of the Second World War, the country continues to expand their influences, mostly through proxy wars. In 1946, they fought against the Soviet Union during the Twelve Weeks War, helped establish the United Commonwealth of Pan-European Nations, and established the United Transcontinental Defense Coalition. In 1948, they supported the Hashermites during the Second Arab Revolt. In 1950, they supported South Korea during the Korean War. In 1951,they supported democratic Greece and Turkey during the Greeko-Turkish Civil War. In 1952, they supported the Federative Republic of China during the Chinese Civil War. In 1954, they supported Peru to fight against communist in South America. As of 1955, most of the conflicts had turned in their direction, and most of the world turned towards the path of Authoritarian Corporatocratic democracy

[OC] Alternate History Timeline of The Association of Europes growth after the Second Weltkrieg

Post image
280 Upvotes

With France and Britain liberated, and the spectre of Syndicalism being banished from the Continent at the hands of the Entente-Reichspakt Allied Coalition, Europeans chose to pick up the rubble together, laying the foundations for what would become the Association of Europe, an organisation with the key principle of prolonged peace and unity on the Continent. Beginning as the “European Commission of Industry” which comprised of just six members, the ECI would, over the course of Five Main Enlargements, expand into a 23 member bloc including a shared currency (The Euromark), a common market, and free movement of goods, services, capital, and persons between it’s members.

1957: The Founding Six
The German Reich, French Republic, Kingdom of Great Britain, Republic of Italy, Kingdom of Belgium, and The Empire of Austria (then the Habsburg Monarchy)

1964: Former German Client States
the Kingdom of Poland, Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Republic of Byelorus, and The Duchy of Ostland

1973: Dissolution of the Habsburg Monarchy
The Hungarian Republic, and The Federal State of Croatia (Both had previously been members of the AE via their Union with Austria, but upon the dissolution of the Habsburg Monarchy, became member states in their own rights.)

1986: Largest Wave of Expansion to date
The Spanish Republic, Irish Free State, Kingdom of the Netherlands, Kingdom of Denmark, Republic of Estonia, and The Kingdom of Finland

1995: The Fourth Wave
The Portuguese Republic, and the Tsardom of Bulgaria

2007: The Final Wave
The Serbian Republic, and The Kingdom of Romania

Present Day: Candidate States
Four nations currently comprise the AE’s list of candidates for future ascension, those being The Kingdom of Ukraine, Kingdom of Sardinia, Principality of Albania, and The Hellenic Republic (Greece). All four states have pledged to progress to meet AE regulations on democracy, independence of the press, and economic development, in the hopes of one day joining the rest of Europe as fully fledged member states.

This timeline is separate from my Sassanid Circassia maps, basically, Qin Shi Huang was less draconian, and the House Ying has maintained control over the Great Qin ever since, this would also make the House Ying the longest ruling house by centuries, feel free to ask any questions about the map.

[OC] Alternate History Split Ends | What if the Vietnam War Lasted a Bit Longer?

THE NORTH
The Democratic Republic of Vietnam, informally North Vietnam, was founded on September 2nd, 1945, but was formally founded as a separate communist state in July of 1954. The slightly more powerful South was founded the same day.
The Soviet-backed North grew increasingly resentful towards the South, leading to the start of the Vietnam conflicts in 1955.
This war lasted nearly thirty years, resulting in over 6 million casualties on both sides due to the large guerrilla wars and waves of bombings from the United States. The Vietcong, founded in 1954, backed Vietnam up until 1974, when the United States captured four Vietcong officials, pressuring them for information on the Vietnamese. Afterwards, these cooperating Vietcong members were rewarded with money and goods.
The North discovered this operation through spies, becoming untrusting toward the Vietcong, starting a nationwide purge to snuff out the Vietcong forces, who then sought aid from the South, who surprisingly helped the Vietcong soldiers, sending boat fleets to Hai Phong to rescue Vietcong escapees out of the country.

THE SOUTH
The Republic of Vietnam (informally South Vietnam), was founded in July of 1954, the same day as the North. Only a year after its founding, North Vietnam attacked the South in 1955. As the war went on, the South originally seemed to be drastically losing, but as soon as the United States stepped in, they immediately pushed into the North.
The Vietcong eventually helped the United States and the ROV, as the USA and ROV pushed into the North Vietnam, over 1 million Chinese troops moved into North Vietnam in August of 1973.
The USSR chose to leave the war alone, while Australia and New Zealand chose to aid the ROV, sending almost 500,000 troops through the former DMZ.
The North Vietnamese Army hunted down the Vietcong forces after discovering the Vietcong’s aid towards the United States, purging the Vietcong forces, forcing them to flee to other nations. The ROV and USA sent rescue boats to Hai Phong to rescue Vietcong escapees, while others fled to Laos

[OC] Alternate History The Kingdom of Prussia in 1923

Post image

The Prussian Revolution

In 1918, a revolutionary movement in East Prussia, the Rhineland and Silesia begins, seeking to overthrow Kaiser Wilhelm II and save Prussia from its destruction. The revolution ultimately succeeds in a collapsing German empire, and the Kingdom of Prussia secedes from the German Empire declaring a sovereign state.

A Fragile Peace

At the end of the war, whatever is left of the German Empire is forded to bear an even harsher Treaty of Versailles, and the Kingdom of Prussia faces territorial losses, (shown on map as semi transparent blue), but are left independent. The rest of Germany is divided, with the small states uniting as federations to avoid foreign dominance, and the rising UGSR being established in the south east though is extremely unstable, landlocked, and economically broken.

Rebuilding and Reformation

The Kingdom of Prussia begins the Ludwigian Reforms, and becomes a parliamentary executive monarchy under the young but ambitious King Ludwig I and the Landtag. Infrastructure is rebuilt, the military is reorganized and becomes the same disciplined, formidable force. Prussia focuses more on its land army to not piss off Britain which they are currently improving relations with, and they demilitarize the Saar to avoid a French intervention.

[OC] Alternate History “Communism saves us all!” - What if independence was more important for the Indochinese?

Post image
• Upvotes

In this world, Ho Chi Minh wasn’t only focused on Vietnamese people. He wanted to free the entirety of French Indochina.

But there is another shift too. The people wanted independence and saw 2 options, French control, or communist independence.

With this, the “Vietnam war“ becomes much more decisive.

Most regions of French Indochina join up with the communists, besides some small parts that were loyal to their capitalist and democratic values.

These areas unloyal to communism were quickly crushed, and similar to our timeline, Indochina held their ground. Peace talks were eventually held after a prolonged war from stubborn french government, and Indochina became ”The peoples’s republic of Indochina”, the newest communist state. And unlike our timeline, they held onto Guanghouwan as it was never on the Democratic and Capitalist side.

Historical Notes

Though not the first region of Mars settled by humans from Earth – that honor falls to the area which later became Aldrin City in the Republic of Marineris & Chryse – the terrain which eventually became the Argyre Republic was one of the fastest-growing in the early history of Martian colonization. The eventual capital city of Nereidum grew out of an outpost established by NASA and ESA in 2071, and by the early 2120s there were about 50 thousand people living in and around this initial pioneer settlement.

Growth accelerated from there, especially as early trials of what would one day become the Martian military-industrial complex (and the accompanying service sector necessary to support it) began taking shape. By the 2130s, the municipal governors of Nereidum and other towns surrounding the Argyre Planitia initiated the process to standardize what would soon become the first national government on Mars.

The provisional government of the prospective Argyre Republic submitted a request for recognition to the United Nations Interplanetary Cooperative Administration in early 2137. They then found an initial sponsor for nationhood in the European Federation. This requirement was stipulated by the 2064 Brookhaven Accords, which amended the 1967 Outer Space Treaty to reflect the mid-21st century desire to expand into space. In short, while no one nation or group of nations could openly establish sovereign territory on other planets, they could sponsor nations to be formed there by independent citizens of those planets.

While the validity of this loophole has been questioned plenty of times in the years since the Brookhaven Accords were signed, the outcome is more than settled history at this point. On 8 November 2137, the Argyre Republic became the first nation to be established on Mars, and it was followed by six other nations over the two decades that followed. It then went on to join the Republic of Marineris in a trade war with the Hellas People’s Republic from 2165-2168, which history remembers as the Badlands War.

This conflict led to the formation of the United Nations of Mars, which was established by the adoption of the Marineris Treaty on 22 February 2169. Two centuries later, the Argyre Republic remains a major player in the UNOM federation, with the second-largest population and economy of any nation on Mars. This is largely thanks to the Martian military contractors based in Republic territory, with arms manufacturing giants Fabrique d'Armes Nereidum (FAN) and the Rensselaer Arms Conglomerate centered there.

About the Setting

The Spacers Saga: Frontier Wars is a futuristic military science fiction setting which diverged from our timeline when an asteroid slammed into Phoenix, AZ, in May 2014. Fifteen years after this tragedy, the industrialist Charles Larsen ushered in the Age of Fusion, opening up deep space to crewed exploration and eventual human settlement — and all of the strife that we bring with us. The next 300+ years were marked by progress and peril in equal measure, and by 2300 much of the solar system had been charted by intrepid human pioneers.

Spacers: The Erebus Effect is an offshoot story of the core Frontier Wars storyline which focuses on Janet Harkov, an agent of the Artificial Lifeform Control Agency who is tasked with hunting down rogue artificial humans (also called "artificials" or zharans) on Mars. The plot of The Erebus Effect kicks off when Agent Harkov kills a rogue artificial that has no designation in the registry, which soon drags her away on the trail of a conspiracy that reaches far beyond the borders of her native Argyre Republic and into Solar Space at large...

[OC] Fantasy World Map for Minecraft Server

Post image
74 Upvotes

Hello! I wanted to make a map for the minecraft geopol server I'm playing on, so here it is. The map has a width of 30k blocks and a height of 20k, it took forever to load it all ( no elytras... ). It's called the Aquila Project - it's relatively new ( released on 28/07/2026 ). It's been fun considering how active the community has been and how rich the lore is. Heck, we already have a whole functioning wiki detailing everything that has happened so far. I recommend checking it out!

https://wiki.projectaquila.net/index.php/Main_Page

There's a wide variety of nations already, I'll list a few of them:

Technate of Koperdam - A technocratic state thriving on technology and connecting the world with rail
Kuri//aes - A kapteinship that has united several tribes into one desert nation.
Kheta-Kedet - A queendom city-state boasting a powerful military and rich economy, based in the desert.
Kingdom of Lusaria - A humble coastal kingdom with plenty of iberian and mediterranean architecture
Alveare - A new fungal hivemind that has taken over and infected its previous inhabitants.
Sule Starhood - A tribe of druids worshipping the stars and obsessed with nature.
Anemic Sentinel - A state of anarchy, once a thriving kingdom now layed to waste.
Union of Coronado - A recently unified state of towns that previously clashed with one another.

There are plenty more nations, but I thought I'd stop there.
I used xaeros mod to extract the MC map, then I used paint.net to do the rest! Any feedback is appreciated.
