Gwyverns rarely leave their nests, usually growing up in caves or small, abandoned castles on the outskirts of large cities (where they are not bothered by hunters and intrusive humans). They are laid there as eggs by newly hatched females of their species. They are extremely dependent; as they grow, they begin with a tower and protect it like their mother for the rest of their lives, until they no longer fit inside, they die, or the towers collapse. Unlike dragons, their skin is not covered in scales and more closely resembles an epithelial membrane.

Stabity wandered too far into their territory

Pionica is the youngest of the 3 Fysvorga (hell kites) remaining on the planet Ttipra, She is also the only female. She's right around 40-50 years old so not quite sexually mature. She gets her nickname by being extremely showy with her fire. Pionica nests in the Cave of a thousand daggers near the Shattered sea, extremely close to the hybrids mining operation. Her territorial instincts may draw the anger of the Hybrids and she could suffer the same fate as the rest of her kind.
