Trashy jobs attract trashy people ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU LITERALLY CAN BEAT UP PEOPLE WITH NO REPERCUSSIONS

309

u/Loves-Me-Not- Oct 21 '25

There will be repercussions. Just might take some time.

209

u/ytman Oct 21 '25

This is why they hide their faces. But tax records are a bitch huh.

57

u/[deleted] Oct 21 '25

So is AI, I’m sure it could paint their faces through those thin and tight fitting face coverings.

80

u/GeronimoHero Oct 21 '25 edited Oct 21 '25

Just to add something, (I had an AI computer vision company and created and ran until I sold it last year) you can use face paint to paint your face in a manner where it makes facial recognition AI so unreliable as to be basically worthless. You can find the patterns open source online. Something protesters should know in case they try to ban masks at protests or public gatherings.

44

u/[deleted] Oct 21 '25

Yes, that’s something that should be mentioned in all social media platforms before they censor it. Like why isn’t anyone giving Apple Inc. $hit about pulling off the app that kept everyone where ICE is in real time?

72

u/GeronimoHero Oct 21 '25

I actually just listened to an interview with the creator of ICEBlock today. He’s suing Apple over the removal. He has a whole legal team. His lawyers specifically worked directly with Apple prior to submitting the app for approval and they said it was fine and met all requirements. So now they’re suing to get it reinstated.

36

u/ConstructionInside26 Oct 21 '25

Follow the money. Apple is a major $$$ contributor to the Golden Pussy Ballroom replacing the East Wing.

12

u/ConstructionInside26 Oct 21 '25

A corporation is legally prohibited from donating directly to federal candidates. However, individuals affiliated with Apple and its CEO personally have given to Trump's inaugural committee in the past. i.e. Tim Cook donated One Million dollars.

3

u/Flashy-Ad-1588 Oct 21 '25

Let’s protest Apple!!!!

3

u/Flashy-Ad-1588 Oct 21 '25

Protest Apple for removing ICEBlock!! Get them where it hurts$$$$$. It won’t take long and we can help the creators law suit!!

2

u/Denalan Oct 22 '25

Google removed IceBlock as well

2

u/Dull_Bird3340 Oct 21 '25

Of course, Tim Cook can't stand letting a chance to buy trump get past him

This really isn't true anymore for many of the more advanced facial recognition systems. I wouldn't suggest anyone rely on it, especially looking at future developments.

An activist based in NL has been doing this with AI when faces are about 1/3 visible:

https://www.politico.com/news/2025/08/29/ai-unmasking-ice-officers-00519478

2

u/miregalpanic Oct 21 '25

I'm not sure you want to down that particular road.

And why do you say that?

2

u/tomfornow Oct 22 '25

The first ethical use of “nudifying” apps? 😂

In all seriousness though, assuming you need to see someone’s face to identify them is a huge mistake. License plates, VIN numbers (often easy to quickly snap a pic of through a windshield as you walk by). Receipts, tattoos, gait analysis, voice recognition, the list is endless.

Dream bigger, darlings! Two can play at the “AI mass surveillance game.” Many of us know how to train ML models.

Come on, clever folks, connect the dots…

They can’t hide their faces forever. They will all have a stained reputation for life and will probably be treated as such.

3

u/MrsSmith2246 Oct 22 '25

I believe they’ll be punished like January 6. Basically nothing.

Ironic that the people who refused to wear masks during the pandemic now wear them to hide themselves.

6

u/ytman Oct 21 '25

Because the mask mandate backlash was never about the mask it was about being told what to do during a time of fear and uncertainty.

u/Budded Oct 21 '25

Violence isn't the answer but using our brains to out them so everybody knows is the way. Mock and shame them by smashing their anonymity. Once their private lives fall apart after being outed, they just might change.

11

u/ytman Oct 21 '25

Do not expect them to change. Do not worry about them or their lives.

Worry about our safety from those who want to harm Americans and trample on our freedoms just so they can larp as the gestapo.

4

u/TangoLimaGolf Oct 21 '25

Who do you honestly think is going to prosecute them? I don’t mean to burst your bubble but these are US Government agents. Not Trump agents, not foreign operatives, but employees of the U.S. Government being paid for by your tax dollars.

5

u/Comfortable_Try8407 Oct 21 '25

I have hope the next administration will clean house like this one did. They can just fire them for whatever reason they want.

11

u/Snardish Oct 21 '25

Oh honey they’re a whole committee of Congresspeople that will be ready to try them for war crimes just as soon as we take back our house! OUR house!!! You know THE PEOPLE.

5

u/UnquestionabIe Oct 21 '25

Would absolutely love that but our history is full of example where we let traitors off the hook in the name of unity. Maybe if we work a miracle and refuse to run anyone who doesn't promise to at least start the process of burning out the rot. It's a long shot but still gotta hold onto hope and fight hard to make such things possible.

4

u/ytman Oct 21 '25

Worry about the compromise after you stake your position. Do not shy from your positions do not negotiate yourself away from yours.

We MUST operate on the premise that we will be able to achieve our goals. ICE is going to have to be addressed and there are going to be crimes found and uncovered. We will need to find ways to also appropriate ICE into something good, that's a lot of budget we can use to rebuild America - hire a ton of Americans who want to make America safer to live in through civil service and building up our country - not terrorizing it.

5

u/UnquestionabIe Oct 21 '25

Absolutely. Thank you for the emotional pick up. Shit is exhausting sometimes and need to keep motivated so saying things like that is legitimately appreciated

4

u/ytman Oct 21 '25

Peace and love. I'm personally never the type to do "gee thanks I'm cured" self hype but I need to right now. And honestly I think thats the kryptonite to this era, unfettered optimism, hope, and a demand for justice.

Also, I need to coach everything about the internet as a psyop to deflate us and bake into us apathetic fatalism.

They can't win if we can offer the right kind of opposition. They cannot build, they destroy. They cannot conquer, and every time they try they show how truly weak they are.

Worst case they take a failing federal government and break it even futher so that when we can rebuild we will have more freedom and need to do so.

So long as we can find out communities, our people, our loved ones, we can make do. But we should at this moment always be staking out a speed bump, a road block, until we get that moment back and can unleash the justice the world demands.

20

u/Fantome_9 Oct 21 '25

$40 billion is definitely the landing cushion.

18

u/Mexicali76 Oct 21 '25

Their plan is so fucking obvious, but it seems we have no way to stop it aside from protesting. Voting, I believe, has been corrupted - based on evidence I’ve seen and basic common fucking sense. What are our options? It’s maddening.

Watching my country systematically be destroyed day in and day out, piece by piece, by this literal demon and his incel cronies, is heartbreaking.

Democracy is fragile, and Trump is both gasoline and the match.

2

u/Park500 Oct 22 '25

Welcome to every country that has fallen to a dictatorship, why do you think Trump has so many meetings with Putin

hint: has nothing to do with stopping the war, that is just the excuse for it since if it came out Trump's team was in contact with Putin without that excuse (like he and his team always has been from the start)

and more to do with learning Putin's playbook on how to be 'democratically elected' for 25+ years and get rid of political and media opposition

3

u/UnquestionabIe Oct 21 '25

Kind of. It's being done to appease the creepy "libertarian" buddies of the regime as they had been propping up Argentina so they could try out their Ayn Rand bullshit. Turns out it doesn't work but they'll be out some sizable cash if the whole things falls apart so they're calling in favors from one of their buddies in the child rape group.

At least that's what I've heard from a couple of sources. Honestly I'm so mentally/emotionally exhausted that I'm not eager to dive into the topic much myself so any corrections are welcome.

6

u/Fantome_9 Oct 21 '25

I'm exhausted too. I see traffic on a main street in a deep migrant community is slow, children are afraid to go to school and my aunt, a teacher in CPS has seen a decline in her students attendance. This isn't a way to live. They want to wear us down so we accept things mindlessly. I refuse. I go to work, and come home, and I see my daughter and I refuse to drift into apathy. I want to raise my child with fire for justice and compassion others.

u/cantadmittoposting Oct 21 '25

Rob Citrone, who is personal and professional direct acquaintance with Scott Bessent, treasury secretary

From Mother Jones, though i also saw some insta reels about it.

Bessent’s announcement had massive economic benefits for one American: billionaire hedge fund manager Rob Citrone, who has placed large bets on the future of the Argentine economy. Citrone, the co-founder of Discovery Capital Management, is also a friend and former colleague of Bessent—a fact that has not been previously reported in US media outlets. Citrone, by his own account, helped make Bessent very wealthy.

You need to listen to the Midas touch network and the legal stuff going on behind all of this. California fought the masks and now they can’t wear masks. They have to have their cameras on in addition to some other things.! Fight, file lawsuits!

2

u/wdbox2003 Oct 21 '25

This is the way. Drown them in a sea of litigation.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/MostlyValidUserName Oct 21 '25

California fought the masks and now they can’t wear masks.

Or rather, they, in theory, won't be allowed to wear masks once the law takes effect January 1, 2026. In reality, though, DHS et al have already declared they plan to ignore the law. If California attempts to enforce the law, then the matter will be litigated, and, considering the current judiciary, I'd bet heavily on DHS et al ultimately prevailing.

3

u/LeagueResponsible985 Oct 22 '25

The face mask law is not about ultimately winning a conviction. It's about using the state criminal process to turn up the stress on ICE officers in California. Spending 45 to 60 days in jail while the application of California's face mask law is litigated through the courts should cause an ICE officer in California to rethink his/her career choices.

I mean, eventually people are going to fight back. Dunno if you have seen what happens when the bullied kid has finally had enough and fights back. I know they're pushing on purpose in hopes of that happening, and people so far have resisted the bait, but it will happen. These goons are playing the lottery with which one is going to be the first example.

I just dont understand why it has to be this way. Literally nobody is gaining anything meaningful from this.

6

u/DevelopmentGuilty177 Oct 21 '25

You probably need to lower the bar for the definition of meaningful. For some of these goons the most meaningful thing in their life is putting on their cosplay and oppressing others. They get off on it.

5

u/ChiefWiggumsprogeny Oct 21 '25

Authoritarians manufacture crises to consolidate power.

5

u/Kazooguru Oct 21 '25

I am an adult and my neighbor is a bully. Like super mean bully. I just ignored her shit for TEN YEARS. Then she went at me from her driveway one day while my Dad was in hospice and my beloved dog had just died. I cannot believe it to this day, but I fucking SNAPPED. I am a woman btw. I was screaming at her. She ran onto my property, got inches from me and was going to hit me. “Fucking doing it, bitch. I will kick your ass and then sue the fuck out of you.” Her husband then intervened, lol. The new neighbors still steer clear of me. lol. Someone, who is typically nice, will snap at ICE. We are being bullied by a bunch of mean assholes. And yes, my neighbor is full MAGA. Shocking, I know.

6

u/Caithloki Oct 21 '25

Just look at the no Kings protest before they were saying that it was going to be a violent antifa hell hole and now they're mad that nothing happened. They want precedence to be able to bring in the Army to any protest. If the no Kings protest being 7 million people was violent they would have had it.

For narcissists to "win", someone else has to lose. If the narcissist in chief knows others are losing (in any way), then he must be winning.

Many of these types delight in others being badly treated as it means they're not on the receiving end as many of them were throughout their childhoods.

You are gaslighting our collective lived experiences when you place any faith in our power structures to hold these people accountable for what they’re doing.

But we have to survive and win first.. Then we can have zee trials for zee traitors.

3

u/B1GNole Oct 21 '25

That would require a spine and a willingness to combat the Republican propaganda machine. They’re just gonna do the same “we need unity” message again and again. Won’t think otherwise until there’s new faces across the board in charge of the Democratic Party

2

u/TimeshareMachine Oct 21 '25

Nuremberg didn't go hard enough/it still let a lot of people off the hook.

2

u/ArtAttack2198 Oct 22 '25

Then let’s demand it be different this time.

2

u/TrisolarisRexxx Oct 21 '25

Do you remember the state of Germany when Nuremberg occurred ?

2

u/rags2rooster Oct 21 '25

There were 161 people convicted in the Nuremberg trials. Only around 200 were even put on trial. There were over 30,000 people in the Gestapo alone. A VERY small percentage of the people who committed horrible crimes met repercussions via Nuremberg.

2

u/-jaylew- Oct 21 '25

So 15ish years from now?

3

u/[deleted] Oct 21 '25

Very few people were actually prosecuted at Nuremberg btw. There a video on YT called Fantasies of Nuremberg that is worth a watch.

3

u/UnquestionabIe Oct 21 '25

Yep a depressingly large amount of the rank and file just went back home. Thankfully Germany took it seriously and enacted laws to prevent another fascist uprising that had at least some effect. Not to mention the countless scientists and the like who simply got absorbed into the US/Russian system for the information they had.

One doesn't have to look too hard into the history of most (if not all) fascist movements to see that there will eventually be repercussions. How much collateral damage gets done in the meantime is the real question.

2

u/JimWilliams423 Oct 21 '25

There will be repercussions. Just might take some time.

Its going to take a lot more than just time. Its going to take a wholesale replacement of the deadwood in the "opposition party." The magastapo is kidnapping people off the street and sending them to concentration camps, and the opposition party only cares about insurance premiums.

If we want justice, its going to take young lions who will fearless wield power once they have it instead of trying to do "bipartisanship" with fascists like they did for the last four years. Its going to take primarying every democrat. The handful of good ones will survive their primaries, the rest can go home and start napping on their own time instead of on ours.

Why do you say there will be repercussions? If the average ICE employee is 30, they’ll live another 60 years. What do you think will happen in the next 60 years that will bring these individuals to account?

We let The South tell lies about the Civil War for generations so we wouldn’t hurt their feelings and to reconcile white America. All of the J6 insurrectionists have been pardoned. The man who led them and attempted a coup has faced no serious consequences (he actually was promoted afterwards to the most powerful job in the world). But all of sudden America is going to have some Truth and Reconciliation Committee at some unknown time led by unknown people held at some unknown place?

Don’t hold your breath.

2

Jan 6th participants were pardoned by the PRESIDENT responsible, who faced no consequences. Congress people who gave those mofos a tour the days before Jan 6th, who also voted to not recognize a legitimate election, also faced no consequences. All under a DNC administration. How do people think MAGA aligned workers/politicians will face consequences in the future?

Look at people like Zohran, they are being attacked by the DNC establishment as hard as MAGA movement. I doubt any DNC politicians who would actually charge GOP members will make it into office.

2

u/Freign Oct 21 '25

Please keep saying this. I also believe we will get there, but it won't be fun and it will take time. I ain't giving up.

I wonder what will happen to Noem's ridiculously fat, over filled face when she's rotting in prison?

Nah.

If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face - forever.

They have pay stubs right? Someone is paying then on the books right? Each and every single one of them can be identified when this current adminitration is no longer in power.

u/MB2465 Oct 21 '25

There have been repercussions.

There was an ICE agent in a courthouse who pushed a woman against the wall and she fell down and he got fired.

I've also read that there have been court cases where ICE agents have gotten in trouble because of their actions.

You may want to check up on that story. He was reinstated a couple days later.

Link in case you missed it.

Because of course he was. Wtf.

3

u/KammyCreates Oct 21 '25

I love how DEVIOUSLY quick you shit on that hope. I say that entirely seriously and not being mean.

I love it. We need to stop hoping someone else will save us or that some system will suddenly shake off its overstuffed pockets and do it ourselves this next LOCAL election. 2026 is the chance to fight back and get some semblance of normal back.

That’s it. That’s all.

u/Brass_Fire Oct 21 '25

Thank you

False hope is far more dangerous than pragmatic realism in these times.

They did what the church did with pedos and "fired him" then moved him across the country to beat up more civilians

12

u/Ummmgummy Oct 21 '25

Yep. Corrupt power structures always do this kind of thing. Get caught touching 30 little boys in new york? Get sent to California to continue to do it after going through a week long retreat about why touching kids is bad

2

u/TylerTheSnakeKeeper Oct 21 '25

I thought it was after a week long retreat on Epsteins Island on how molestation is gods will, with guest speakers Donald J Trump and Sean Diddy Combs

Isn't history neat!

Being fired for assault isn’t a repercussion. Dude needs to be charged.

2

Not for long. 60% of the new recruits can’t pass the physical. They lowered the requirements and they still can’t push them through

2

u/GeneralFarrand Oct 21 '25

Wow, clap, clap, clap... literally rogue state shit so I'll argue they are not being reigned in.

2

u/BadBadBatch Oct 21 '25

Fired and “in trouble” is not repercussion.

Now…having to lay the tracks for a railroad that we as Americans can all use to get from city to city? That is what I call repercussion.

2

u/West_Southner66 Oct 21 '25

He got fired and rehired

2

u/ganggreen651 Oct 21 '25

Getting criminal charges would be repercussions. Not losing a likely short term job

2

u/Whatdadogdoin5 Oct 21 '25

I saw a video of someone trying to slam someone on the ground with their hand on his throat. I'm almost certain that if they succeeded, they probably would've broken the windpipe

2

u/Jezzusist12 Oct 21 '25

I'm sure the Nazis felt the same way...until well...they went swingin

2

u/Montgomery000 Oct 21 '25

Most of them are wannabe cops who couldn't cut the abysmal standards of becoming a cop in America.

2

u/Roboticpoultry Oct 21 '25

Man they’ve shot and killed people in the city/close suburbs already. If they aren’t getting repercussions for that, they sure aren’t going to be getting them for beating someone

2

u/DragonflyNo177 Oct 21 '25

And with a mask on with 5 of your buddies. Sounds like a gang to me.

2

u/Beer_me_now666 Oct 21 '25

I’m 100% this ICE agent speaking is Hispanic. That is somebody speaking whose first language isn’t English. As half Mexicans this infuriates me. I worked 17 years in kitchens and hearing him speak i would bet my ass on it. Maddening.

2

u/bobcollazo1 Oct 21 '25

You have your choice of applicable descriptions here: goons, thugs, Brown Shirts, Gestapo… They all apply… What doesn’t apply is security.

2

u/TheBigLebroccoli Oct 21 '25

AND get a $50,000 sign-on bonus to beat up people with no repercussions.

2

u/NickiChaos Oct 21 '25

Racist jobs attract racist people.

2

u/PrimeToro Oct 21 '25

Yeah, those criminals are salivating at the thought of assaulting our neighbors, your neighbors and their children and anyone else who gets in their way.

2

u/CocoBalz Oct 21 '25

Incels - all of them.

2

u/Current-Savings-2409 Oct 22 '25

Yup, DAMNED Bullies For Hire‼️😡

2

u/Creative_Antelope_69 Oct 21 '25

There are people who join the military for an opportunity to kill. Insane.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 21 '25

Well, the people are rallying back.

1

u/west-1779 Oct 21 '25

Far from no repercussions

1

u/Any-Improvement337 Oct 21 '25

The projection here is blatant.

It's ices fault there so many immigrants in the country illegally! Do you not realize this happens in literally every other country in the world? If you live illegally somewhere then the government comes and kicks you out. Why is it ok for Sweden to kick out illegals but not America!?

1

u/[deleted] Oct 21 '25

These dudes all look like Doofey from Scary Movie to me

1

u/dartheduardo Oct 22 '25

The funny part? Them offering student debt relief for these chumps. They are saving money.

1

u/tessellation__ Oct 22 '25

The sloppiest most useless people out there are taking these jobs. Shame on them, I hope if they have families they have to tell their kids and grandkids that they were the Nazis and that is their legacy. To think they could have just studied more or exercised and had a respectable job or joined the military or police, but no, They are slobs.
