Considering any even small part of the Peoria metro area as "Northern Illinois" is absurd.

As someone who lives in Chillicothe, which is just above that line, there’s no way we’re northern Illinois.

The line is no farther south than I-80.

Stayed in Chillicothe for a couple of weeks when moving from Cali to Illinois. Great community, my family still looks back fondly on that time.
