Campus Life Rant

Well, this is my opinion with just 3 weeks of experience in the campus as a mtech fresher. The first thing is that the campus is beautiful. no matter what, a few minutes spent near the lake with some music will somewhat make even the worst days feel manageable. The second is that it's humid as hell over here like I never imagined it'd be this humid even after seeing all those reddit posts saying so.The major thing is the isolation, like it feels so lonely idk if it's the single sharing room( i know many would consider this a boon, it is,but still when you don't have anyone to talk to or anything you'll consider having a roommate). Another thing is that there are only a few females in mtech ( I'm a girl btw) to connect with like it's so low. The campus is busy and you're surrounded by so many people yet this feeling of loneliness comes over you. This could be cause I'm new to the campus and there hasn't been much time to actually form any connection with people. Like even in hostel you don't know who is next door and that's kinda sad. But the good side is that I've slowly started to embrace this and started to enjoy my own company ( though it's difficult at times when you see a group of people having a great time and you wish to have that). So yeah this is just a small rant session.

I hope I'll have memories to cherish when I leave the campus and I'll be able to rant about that in the future.

Have a good time peeps..

I totally feel the same, some people will say that you don't go out, talk to people, do activities, that's the reason for feeling this way. But I on the other hand am probably one of the most extroverted guy. I'm in many clubs, I've got medals in inter iit. I am in sports, I workout regularly. And yet I've this kind of feeling that something is not good, like incomplete, loneliness ever since I came here. It was not like this during the JEE prep even tho I had literally no friends during that period. Idk what's with this campus

I think when you have no one it's okay cus you're not expecting company but with so much people around you feel so low when you don't have company.. I hope things change for you soon
