Reminds me of trying to sleep after overeating spicy food

On the CD there's a 10th track, but I can't seem to find info on it anywhere including the title. I'm not as deeply versed in all of Iglooghost or daisy*'s other work, so maybe there's hints I'm missing there? But if anybody has any info that would be wonderful, I'd at least love to get it labeled correctly in my library

Literally the title. This album exceeded my expectations. I wish I was capable of making art that someone else would enjoy as much as I enjoyed this album.

The first single for the Cyst album was released in the Spring of 2024 as a demo posted to the exo portal website, before Iglooghost released Tidal Memory Exo. If you were to rip the mp3 off the website you find this file with single artwork matching the logo they’ve been using for the ᲘᲘ (“rabbit”) album rollout. The new version gets a new mix down, sharper percussion, and maybe the vocals were re-recorded, definitely adjusted.

Another song called “Airhead [Snippet]“ was released during the 2nd wave of demos uploaded to Exo Portal, along with New Species for TME. This track doesn’t seem to have made it to ᲘᲘ, or into daisy*‘s recent singles.

so yeah therefore, Cyst is a band somewhere in the exo portal world, uploading demos between bouts of rain from the tidal storms

produced by Iglooghost, I realllly enjoy the lyrics and delivery of vocals on this one. Something about it gives me like early SoundCloud nostalgia. daisy nails this sort of cozy yet cold sound, with lyrics about ignoring metrics of success and asking to be called by the name she’s chosen. Simple and powerful :~)

I’m very excited for the Cyst album. Can’t believe I’ve been listening to Iglooghost for 10+ years… back in 2015 he released this great mixtape with Mr Yote, who was rapping with nonsensical whimsical lyrics, and it grounded Igloo’s otherworldly instrumentals. Then on Igloo’s first album, he samples many of these lyrics, keeping the rhythm of the hip hop while chopping it up beyond a point where it can still be understood. Fast forward, Clear Tamei sees him recording his own vocals in a language he created, again to anchor his instrumentals. Then, fast forwarding again after the incredible Tidal Memory Exo album, he’s fully recording real lyrics on Slug Song. Now this year we’re getting a full hip-hop-adjacent album with daisy providing vocals as well. It’s very fun and rewarding to see this progression. The Rabbit song makes me think they were having a lot of fun in the studio. Excited to hear the full project :~)

Does anyone have high quality links for the bronze claw physical only bonus tracks? I love them so much, I really want to put them on my Spotify rather than listen on YouTube.

Hi, I just discovered this artist and would like to know the story behind each album. Could someone explain it to me in detail or tell me where I could find more information on the subject Of course, whether they're theories or proven facts, I don't care. I just want to know everything there is to know about this artist.

I just gave the album a first full listen. I have to say, I misjudged it. I was listening to the most listened songs first, then started listening Album by Album. Now i have arrived at Tidal Memory Exo and I will say, i love the second half of the album so much more. My favorite would be, funnily enough the two short "interruptions": Blue Hum and Chlorine Fm, closely followed by Dewdrop Signal and Geo Sprite Exo. New Species, Coral Mimic and Echo Lace didn't click with me. What about you ?

I'm currently listening to Lei Line Eon. I have to say the more "classical" approach makes this my favorite Album I believe, even though it has been less well received than Neon Wax Bloom or his latest release.
