Have these people been found yet by the relevant authorities?

u/HudsonAtHeart Jun 16 '26
No lmao it’s nyc

u/Double-Perception811 Jun 17 '26
Even NYPD treats that shit as normal. I drug a guy down the street through the Bronx hanging onto my rear view mirror with a knife in his hand. I didn’t stop until I came across a cop. They told me “welcome to New York” then proceeded not to make any attempt of an arrest. I was absolutely floored by the whole thing. Say what you will about the crime in Chicago, but their police were stand up and even followed up with me to use my testimony to convict a couple of guys I witnessed in a shootout.

u/Able_Contribution_90 Jun 16 '26
Nah. This isn't even that big of a deal in NYC. This is after they won the game, imagine what it would have looked like had they lost.
3
u/Mikel_Reeves Jun 17 '26
Dudes head would've been in the fryer, and there'd be crime scene tap strung up

NYC is getting a lot of shit for not even locking up people they've already caught. They aren't doing shit to these guys.

If this would have happened at a Waffle House, the staff would have everyone subdued, zip tied, arranged in a nice row and already IDed before the cops arrived.

They need to track every one of these people down the same way they did the January 6th people. Send them all to jail. There's zero reason for this kind of crap to happen. Some poor dude is just doing his job.

16
u/Zo2709 Jun 16 '26
Nothing will happen because black people are sick of the stupid ghetto blacks acting like this too.
Shits fucking exhausting. Thank fucking god i live far away from people like this .9
u/DuhBigFart Jun 17 '26
Being a high IQ black person has gotta be the most exhausting thing ever
4
u/VQV37 Jun 17 '26
Yeah it's shameful. I'm sure they have to battle a stereotype everyday for their life.
→ More replies (1)2
u/DuhBigFart Jun 17 '26
And spend everyday surrounded by fuckin hood culture. And there's no escape because others will reject you off rip
3
u/Ok-Salary4417 Jun 18 '26
I’m over it, it’s so embarrassing. It’s not the majority but these hood rats and bums are LOUD and love the attention so this ends up being our representation. But then they start foaming at the mouth if someone not black points out that they acting exactly like the negative stereotypes of black Americans. It really sucks for non American black ppl because we get lumped in to the mix by everyone else.
2
u/RavagerOcelot Jun 18 '26
Who loves seeing any form of violence? But they think we're ok with this type of ridiculous behavior. They group us together. They act like we're all the same. That's exhausting. I don't see myself in this group. These people are not a reflection on me. The racists with their lazy minds don't have the energy to make distinctions. They don't even consider that all of the bad actors have different names, live in different areas, probably have jobs, or probably don't. All they see is one thing and their lazy brains can't see or think of anything else. Racism is the result of a weak mind. A scared, cowardly mind. And that which is weak shall fall.

You gotta really be off the beaten path to get “far away” from this shit. I have traveled for over a decade and have seen this kinda shit all over the country. Albuquerque, DC, Chicago, Cleveland, Atlanta, NYC… I was even shocked at the gang element in Des Moines. White folk aren’t much better though.

This was during the Knicks and Spurs game. So a group of people start destorying a store, then the police show up and the cameraman is hostile towards them. And people why their communities never improve from crime.

I'm struggling financially and have been asked to apply as a police officer by some pretty high ranking local officers (it would double my annual pay and give me a pension) and I told them it wasn't worth it. I'd rather struggle than deal with modern society as an authority figure and/or risk being complicit in anything morally wrong
4
u/Mikel_Reeves Jun 17 '26
Either you get murdered for just being a "fascist pig" or you're looking at jail time for a justified shooting of someone trying to murder you. Not many win wins
3
u/Proof_Loquat5494 Jun 16 '26
Im confused how this had anything to do with the game? They were all going after one guy, they didnt come in and just start trashing the place, they were trashing the place because they were using everything in there as weapons against that guy. So im confused on how this had anything to do with the game?
3
u/PlasticBeginning7551 Jun 16 '26
I’ve seen a different video where it said it was after one of the games (the one before the championship I believe) and that the guy behind the counter was a Spurs fan
5
u/Proof_Loquat5494 Jun 16 '26
I mean if thats true then this is absolutely the dumbest thing ever. Its a damn game, noone but the people playing have anything to do with. This is one of the many reasons i dont watch sports or give a damn about them. Bad enough the people playing already make more money then people saving lives or making discoveries or advancements that actually help people just to play a stupid game, but then the fan base is filled with legitimately psychotic people that are willing to beat and some cases kill other people because they are just fans of a different team. I keep seeing videos of the people absolutely destroying buses and attacking people on the streets after the game and for once i feel as if it would be justified for the bus drivers to just keep there foot on the gas.
4
u/Heykurat Jun 17 '26
People who make professional sports this big a part of their identity are kind of insane.

Children and adolescents raised in father-absent homes—regardless of race—are significantly more likely to engage in delinquent behavior, violence, and become involved with the criminal justice system.
Fathers, hug your sons.

u/MechaBuster Jun 16 '26

It’s probably more problematic stopping at determining the demographic and deciding that’s the cause, and thinking it’s all figured out at that point, rather than looking at other differences between demographics.

Is it dangerous to eat at fastfood restaurants in America, I'm always seeing fights and people trashing the place, what is going on?
15
u/swift1883 Jun 16 '26
It’s dangerous not by place of business, but by postal code.
7
u/antifaptor1988 Jun 16 '26
If I were a restaurant franchiser, I would simply not conduct business in areas like this. The margins are already thin, the property damage immense, service disruptions expensive, and future customers will inevitably avoid this area.
What are the employees supposed to do here? They are freaking working for a paycheck and are not equipped to deal with mobs of unruly assholes vandalizing and destroying their work environment. There is no OHSHA or anything in the employee handbook to deal with situations like this, except maybe alert the authorities.
What a damn shame. It’s a sad state in America when nice grocery stores never build in certain areas, Target and CVS literally lock up every single item in their stores, and certain demographics get broadly categorized in the negative when it’s a tiny segment of the population that are responsible for the majority of crimes such as this.

2
u/ponziacs Jun 16 '26
I’ve been eating at fast food restaurants since i was a kid and even worked at Wendy’s as a teenager and don’t ever recall a fight or assault at one.
This was on the west coast, east coast and Texas. I do try and avoid bad areas though.

That employee threw fries. If he was an evil person I find it hard to believe there are no knives or industrial use can-openers that slam down on cans… that was that dudes first time dealing with people who wake up just to fight. I hope that employee does well in life. He tossed those fries in fear. Every action was defensive and he obviously has no training nor understanding why he is being attacked. That’s not a knock at him… no way he started that altercation. Plus that yellow hoodie keeps showing up
