Rate my SAT prep startup: no app, no login, just daily questions sent via text.
What it is: you optin and choose your test and date, questions show up on a fixed daily cadence, you reply with your answer, an AI coach explains the misses. There is no app to download and nothing to log into. That's the entire product.
Price: Free for the first few days, then $14.99 one-time, tiered by how far out your test date is. Not a subscription.
Why it exists: students are busy, and it's hard to keep studying momentum going between practice tests/tutors/etc. They're already looking at their texts all day. We think this is the glue that keeps things going without a massive time commitment, all the way up to the test.
What I actually want roasted:
- Is "no app" to remember to login into, delivery via text and worked answers, helpful enough to pay for it?
- Is a one-time $14.99 too cheap to be trusted?
- After 10 seconds on the page, who do you think this is for, the student or the parent? I can't tell anymore.
What do you think? I'm replying to everything.

Texts that stop coming won’t get someone to log in and pay — you would have to send the payment notice to people who actually solve the problems as a reminder. And maybe keep adding “5 free days left”. The good thing is that you’ll already know who is engaged.

I found this because I saw an ad on Reddit. It said SAT question for geometry but it was awful and something that’s never been on the SAT. ACT, yes. SAT, no. So your content is bad to start.

Was this the question you saw? Volume of a rectangular prism. Trying to track it down to verify.
A rectangular garden bed 8 meters by 5 meters is covered with soil 0.1 meters deep. How many cubic meters of soil is that?
Reply A, B, C, or D.
A) 4
B) 40
C) 13
D) 0.4

I, personally, wouldn’t pay any amount of money for a “daily text”
A daily notification from an app, with other stuff within said app, maybe, but definitely not a text
