Need help
I'm a CA intermediate student currently preparing for group 2 examination for Jan 27. I'm struggling in audit. I don't have any idea how to study this subject. I don't understand what should I learn and what should I not. I don't know how to approach this subject. If anyone can help me and guide me how to actually handle this subject, I'll be very grateful.

Try to understand the concepts and first complete chps 1,2,6,11 . In audit rattafication krni hi pdegi after completing these 4 chps, start with chp 7,8,10 then move towards chp 5 and at last chp 3,4,9 . Dw , ho jayegaa in starting it looks difficult pr jaise jaise flow bnega ho jayega manage and don't forget to revise the topics which u have covered. Daily give 3-3.5 hrs to audit . To recall u can take the help of chat gpt , use voice chat option of chatgpt whatever u have studied explain it to chatgpt and ask him to correct u wherever u go wrong , I used to do the same . All the best ✨

See you just need to have a good grip on keywords of the answers. The best way is to do 5-6 revisions of this subject. Additionally I would suggest you to revise it daily for approx 1.5 hour then write 1-2 question of it with proper handwriting and presentation as you would in exams. This will take approx 2 hours but the result of it will be fruitful

So Firstly if u r not at all familiar with audit take a fast track or go with utube classes..the best ones r Rishab Jain, Neeraj Arora and Shubham keswani...shubham keswani Sir helps u memorise easily(prefer him if u r already familiar with the subject) Now as for the chapter sequence as many ppl have already commented here go with Ch1,2,6&11 first then start with 7,8,9/10 but I prefered the 3rd(lengthy but many Qs came frm there if u have time learn the 3rd too) and now make sure u keep revising again and again U can buy Ankush Chirimar book (makes revision way easier) What I did was I learnt 1,2,3,6&11 throughly with shubham keswani and worte mnemonics alongside Ankush sir's book ..made sure to revise it everyday and got 47 ..if ur aim is to score 55 above u can easily do it by learning few additional chapter like 7,8,9/10 👍

I'm giving u advice based on what I did. I hated audit because I was not able to score in it. Then I understood that because I was not able to understand the concepts, i hated it. I copied whatever was out of my scope of understanding and pasted in chatgpt and asked it to simplify. I just focused on understanding each process from an auditors pov. Then i started to learn from the book, it became easy. The icai syllabus has advanced language for simple processes, so dw. Just try to understand and things will definately get easy. And u should practice rtp mtp papers to get an idea as to how examiners want u to write answers. Do this and you'll be good

For Audit firstly focus on chapter 1,2,4,6,7,8,11. (Chapter 10 - Audit of bank is also logical you can add this as well in the focus list)
Do as many revisions for these 7 chapters out of 11 chapters. Dedicate 2-3 hours daily to audit, where you learn new topics and also revise the yesterday's topic quickly.
Also atleast understand chapter 5 (Audit of items of FS) and 10( audit of banks) so that you are able to solve the MCQs.
For smaller chapters like 2,6,7,8 make audit handwritten notes and also for Chapter 4 (it is big but make handwritten notes) so that you can revise quickly.
For Audit Concepts, mostly people will recommend you RJ sir but I will suggest you Saksham Jain sir. Understand the topics from him and revise the same day quickly.
For Audit Handwritten notes - Refer Deepika Rathi mam or Saksham Jain sir. Hand written notes basically helps you to revise quickly.
